Exceptionally good pies!! A bit more on the pricey side but absolutely worth it. Amazing pastry, high quality ingredients and tasty gravy. Muffins and coffee were good too. They also have the best dark rye bread!

I came in on monday during lunch time and got some coffees with my daughter.The two women working there were very unwelcoming, I honestly felt uncomfortable when I ordered by the look on both there faces. Not a smile in site.It’s not the first time we have been in here and it’s happened a few times.Although the pies are amazing and the bread and butter pudding was lovely.

Such a gem! The Grumpy Baker is not grumpy at all. I was delighted to find this little Cafe as I drove through Maroubra. An inviting shop front leads to a lovely selection of baked goods. I enjoyed one of the best sausage rolls I've had. It was tasty, had a pastry crust to die for and most importantly, filling! Coffee was first class as was the service! Worth driving out of your way for!

Their food and pastries are great.They have quite a wide range of sweet & savoury food. Their hot food is delicious and their very vege sausage roll is the best I have had in a very long time.Bread is also available.Plenty of parking around.Very limited seating but you have the beautiful views with seating across the road which more than suffice.Well worth going to the Grumpy Baker at Maroubra Beach.

This bakery has a bit of charm, Famous for its pies and sausage rolls. I would recommend the mushroom pie which is full of flavour and satisfying even for a meat lover. We frequently visit to buy the fresh sourdough bread loaves.There's usually a short line but it moves pretty quickly. There's lots of street parking within a short walking distance, but on a sunny weekend it might be a challenge to find a spot.Price can be considered reasonable especially for a beach side location.

Only found out about this little gem a month ago. I love the display window to the outside and how simple the set-up is. Everything looks delicious and my favourites have been the raspberry danish, olive and garlic loaf and the vege roll (hot). The vibe is lovely, the staff are polite and service comes with a smile. There's often a short line outside but the few min wait is well worth it. Have been back a few time and will continue visiting. Highly recommend!

This place is great the hot chocolates are fantastic and the pastries even better. The costumer service from the young boy at the counter is the best I’ve ever had. He is so polite and has great recommendations. I’ve haven’t had costumer service and food that good in a long time. Well done young man!
