Probably my favourite florist in Sydney.The staff is very friendly. The variety of flowers is grrat too and they are always willing to help.Besides of that, the workshops they have its always so helpful amd such a good activity to do in group.I would highly recommend to do the terrarium workshop.

Discovered Merchant & Green over the last two weekends while out taking a stroll for brunch.They are delightfully local and stock both high quality flowers as well as a good selection of indoor plants - all very well looked after.Met Chris on our second visit and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He very kindly offered some tips and names of plants I might be interested in (and oh, thanks for the macadamias!). Kudos for having own soil mix at the ready :)I've attached a pic of the Philodendron purchased from them and now sitting nicely in the living room.

I have received flowers from here a few times and always had been positive and impressed with it. However the recent experience wasn’t good at all, order a bouquet to be pick up- quality and arrangement of flowers were disappointing. A few flowers were already wilted- petals fell off while picked up and colour combo was disappointing too.Went back to get it re-do, the man that attended to me was impatient and didn’t want to hear about my concerns. He exclaimed ‘I don’t need to know all that just tell me what you like to get redone.’I sincerely hope this is just a one off negative experience, as I had great experience previously.

Got to enjoy a fantastic Terrarium course lead by Chris. Really relaxing and enjoyable. Chris is a passionate artist and excellent florist. Incredible eye for detail and has a gift for conversation. I hope to return soon.

My partner and I used Merchant & Green for our wedding and oh my gosh Chris and his team are AMAZING!! We can't recommend them highly enough. Chris was fantastic from the first meeting. He has an amazing eye for colour and has so many unique plants, pots and flowers. He was super helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had. He understood exactly what we were looking for and delivered an absolutely stunning display on the day! The flowers were so beautiful and lasted a long time. The Merchant & Green shop in Redfern is seriously gorgeous and definitely worth a visit!

I have on many occasions purchased quality plants from this beautifully appointed shop. What is amazing to me is that so few if any have failed to thrive. The purchase is always accompanied by guidance from staff or wonderful Chris hence my success rate has greatly mproved. In addition I have attended a number of useful related courses on site - creating a terrarium, fundamental weaving being just 2 of an assortment. The creative colourful floral arrangements that have been adapted for the receiver are pretty spectacular. I highly recommend you wander on down the window will draw you and Chris and co will create something devine.

Love this florist. The staff are super helpful and skilled. Always beautiful blooms on offer and for a decent price. My Mum loved her recent birthday bouquet and has messaged a few times to say she can't stop looking at it.
