My dad and I got the half chicken combination pack. It comes with half a chicken and 3 salads.. The chicken had a nice char, was flavoursome from the coal and was very succulent. The salads we chose (Caesar, Mediterranean pasta and penne pasta) were okay but the star was the chicken. Overall we prefer this place to Charlie’s for chicken quality. The only negatives were that the store packs the chicken and salads in 1 container and we missed out on the stuffing for our piece of chicken!

Something as simple as rating charcoal chicken requires a deceptive amount of meticulous analysis to get the balance right.Skin: 5/5The chicken is roasted well, with the skin done decently. Sufficient colouration and not too much charring.Stuffing: 5/5This one is a fundamental requirement to a good chicken. The flavour of herbs and mash consistency is key. This shop has done it well.Meat: 4/5Generally well, but there are some parts of the chicken that tasted a bit too aged"Chips: 2/5Can't rate a charcoal chicken shop without the classic vanilla accomplice. The chips were okay. The had a passable amount of seasoning

Boronia Park Gourmet Charcoal Chicken & Salad
We were very hungry after doing a hike nearby. We tried some well reviewed cafes nearby but their kitchens had closed. It was a great thing for us they were. We got some of the best pork and beef rolls from here. The gentleman serving us was very nice and polite. We loved the food and service here and definitely will be returning when in the area.

Customer for many years. You can never go wrong with the chicken roll with lettuce and mayonnaise on a hungry day. Friendly staff and always playing great music!

Proper old school charcoal chicken flavour and their roast pork is amazing must try!It would be nice to see them improve there bread rolls and chips as well but all up excellent.

Disappointed to say the least..This place isnt what it used to be... previous owners used to do a killer chicken and chips..Chips were absolutely shocking... Just a cheap cut grade, no flavour or crispyness, soggy as. Waste of money Because I love good friesChicken was meh..No stuffing in the chicken either..Wont be returning...

Came here at 12:10am when it says it closes at 7am, I drove 45 minutes to eat here. Please fix this, this is not acceptable at all

Ordered catering for my birthday party for 60 people. The chicken and salads were amazing, and the potato bake was next level. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants a function catered.
