Carinya Station Farm Stay

We were one of the first people to stay in the Balima Glamping tent, we have to say that it was an absolutely beautiful and peaceful time. It was an absolutely amazing experience, with exceptionally friendly owners and staff. Can't wait to come back again. Thank you everyone at Carinya Station Farm Stay for having us, we will see you all again soon.

Jacinda and Joe are warm and welcoming to everyone, even a geek like me that needs to be picked up from the airport with all my heavy telescope equipment, and has no camping gear at all. The night skies are beautiful for my photography, see some photos with this review. Home-cooked meals are both generous and delicious, provided by Jacinda, and I sleep in a luxurious Bell tent fitted out with everything I could need. I feel truly pampered!

Our family stayed at Carinya Station over Easter and while we are city people, we absolutely fell in love with Carinya. Jacinda and Joe run the station and are so welcoming and ready to chat or answer any questions at any time. It was so interesting to learn the history of this property and how they built it to where it is today. If you don’t mind getting your hands and feet dirty, sitting by a fire at night and getting amongst it with the animals, I can’t recommend Carinya Station enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved our time there, big grounds to park your rig with big sky above. Jacinta has a great sense of humour but keeps the secret of what to mix with the Wilga Tree leafs to herself!Go and support our farmers, they deserve it!

Wonderful experience, plenty of history and an unreal place to camp. Stayed in the 'Balima' Glamping Package, where we had our own private outdoor shower under the stars and private fire pit area. Also had the Dinner package which include Chops, Potatoes (to cook over the fire) and a homegrown salad which was Devine. Plenty to do on farm including the farm tour. Also plenty of sights to see into town. - This is a must do experience!!

Visiting Carinya Station is like visiting old friends. Our family always has a wonderful experience and we are so very grateful to Joe and Jacinta and the kids for there wonderful hospitality. Great care and considerations for the land and environment is displayed and shared during the farm tour and through out your stay. There are sign posts across the property sharing amazing information on the local trees and plants and acknowledgement of the Yuwaalayaay language of the local Kamilaroi people. We personally cannot wait to come back and that our children cannot wait to go back to see all the wonderful little babies they have in the kid kindy; which is a great opportunity to get up and close with the animals. There are self compositing toilets available and a washing machine in the sheering shed if you need to wash your clothes. The station is not far from the bore baths which is wonderful to visit at night should you want to swim under the stars!!! Carinya Station is a truly amazing place to visit and I encourage you to come and try it out for yourself. I guarantee you will want to come back every year.

Carinya is a magical place, of wide open spaces, stargazing and campfires. We loved every second. Our kids enjoyed the farm animals and collecting wood for the fire! Jacinda and Joe are wonderful hosts who make you feel instantly welcome and go above and beyond to show you around the farm and tell you about this beautiful part of the world. We will have fond memories of our holiday at Carinya and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Carinya Station. Stunning views, great times by the campfire and the kids were entertained for hours with the goats and chickens at Kid Kindy and making friends at the playground. The bore baths are just five minutes away and it’s a magic spot to enjoy a hot soak and showers at sunset. Jacinda the owner/host is so lovely and helpful. When our car broke down she kindly came into town to collect us and took us back the next day to meet NRMA.

The most amazing Glamping experience in the outback! Such a beautiful Glamping tent, amazing outdoor bath, excellent hospitality, beautiful animals and a very peaceful + relaxing vacay! We’ll definitely me back. Thank you Jacinta and Joe xxx

Amazing place, great stay, great hosts.Jacinda and Joe dealt with any issues with revellers very efficiently, it was an unfortunate the visitors have yo do stupid things.Everyone also pitched in and helped in a community effort, which was amazing.We love the place, highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
