Highly recommend, thank you so much for our incredible stay. Julie was fantastic, she was more than happy to accommodate and assist when our plans had to quickly change. The location was immaculate and so peaceful, and the golf course was pristine and well looked after. Will definitely return again. If your looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway with some great golf, look no further.

Course is in such good shape. Great layout. Julie is a great host of the course. Sorry we couldn't stop for a beer as the view over the course is awesome.

Great course. More challenging than expected with some big par 4's and plenty dog legs. Beautiful greens.

The accommodation is very good. New, with good design and facilities. I was with a group and we found the villa particularly versatile. The Golf course was also good. Not championship standard but fair and challenging. I recommend Waikerie as a place to play and stay.

We had our bi-annual golf trip at the Waikerie Golf Club and stayed in a 6-bedroom villa. The course is pleasantly challenging with long Kentucky bluegrass fringes and mounds that are a practical alternative to bunkers. The greens were very well presented and consistent with the fairway layout quite interesting and surprisingly challenging without being unreasonably difficult. The outstanding part of our experience was the 6-bedroom villa that we stayed in.It is called 4 stars on some sites, but I believe that it challenges some of the 5-star venues that I have experienced elsewhere.Julie the manager and her staff were helpful, friendly and generous with their time. The complimentary continental breakfast was a step up from what you normally find in a hotel dining room with the added courtesy of a coffee pod machine and pods ready to go.The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, utensils, crockery, a dishwasher, wine glasses and some complimentary bottles of local wine.We enjoyed the venue so much that we are planning to return in 2 years' time.

UPDATE: 19/5/23 A slightly different three day trip. We began day one of our golf trip at Keith GC followed by Bordertown GC. Next day we played Loxton GC followed by Berri GC and the final day we played Barmera GC and Waikerie GC ………. Then back home to Adelaide by 4.30pm.Waikerie Golf Course was in excellent condition . The long and contoured fairways were very challenging. Get onto the second cut and your ball would go nowhere. The undulating greens made for challenging putting. Highly recommend. Julie and Trish were very welcoming.11/3/22We went on our usual short two day holiday to the Riverland. We played Waikerie in the morning, Loxton in the afternoon and stayed at The Big River Golf and Country Club using a State government voucher. The next day we played Berri in the morning and Barmera in the afternoon and then back to Adelaide by 5.00pm. A fantastic short golfing holiday. As expected, Waikerie golf course course was in fantastic condition. The rough, greens and bunkers were all manicured. The greens in particular were fantastic to attack as the ball landed beautifully on them. Waikerie is a challenging course with some very, very long par4’s…….you need an excellent drive and an excellent second shot to make some of these greens. We had a fantastic day out. A special thanks to Nicole and Julie who made us feel very welcome.11/6/21Waikerie Golf Course is located in a very quiet and peaceful setting less than 2 hrs drive from Adelaide. An excellent country course that is well maintained with manicured fairways and greens. The Club were having their Annual Open the day after we played ....... The course was in excellent condition. The sculptured fairways were tight and the second cut made for challenging golf. Waikerie has some of the longest par 4’s we’ve played. The Greens were very fast and great to putt on.Julie was very welcoming. The clubhouse has excellent facilities. Be sure to add Waikerie to your bucket list of courses to play in country SA.

Could not fault it. Highly recommend for a large group. We’ve decided to make it an annual event it was so good. Annette in the golf club went out of her way to help us and Julie was a wonderful hostess.

Hiring the Golf buggies was the best thing ever. Apparently it is over 7 km walk around the course if you are a perfect player or 9 km's if your not. It was lovely to play on the well kept greens.Staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in the Luxurious Villas. It was great to wake up to see the golf course first thing in the morning. Then you have the Golf course to yourself in the everning. We had a great time.
