Enjoyed lunch there 7th /6 . Hamburger with the lot was tasty, nice & fresh. Coffee was nice & hot. However, my friend 's battered fish was not quite cooked on the inside. She complained & was told it would be reported to the cook but not offered something extra.

For the price you would expect more. The sandwich was nice but $1.50 extra for beetroot (the same charge as egg or bacon) we felt was steep. The $17.50 burger with the lot didn’t have pineapple, which the lot usually includes, was ordinary. An extra $2 to include a little container of chips when they sell a box of chips (2-3 times the size) for $2, seemed unreasonable. The scones freshly made, nice, but why heat a fresh scone in the microwave. Cappuccino was tasteless and banana think shake overloaded with syrup flavour, sickly strong. All in all not worth a near $50 food bill.

The best fish and chips in town. You can't beat fish, chips and pineapple for $12. It's my weekly indulgence.

customised food was delicious (including vegetarian and hot chocolate). good, friendly service. only issue was an oven cleaner smell, possibly due to COVID or periodic cleaning, but it did not taint the food.
