Southport Sharks

Last night we had the most wonderful experience by the French duty manager at the buffet. What a beautiful human being to be greeted with such warmth and incredible service when we only had 20 minutes till the buffet was to finish. We didn't catch his name but WOW what a superbly wonderful and memorable experience. Also the young lady at the cash register for the buffet was just as beautiful as she mentioned that because of the limited time we could order off a menu so we could get our money's worth. Not to end there but also to mention the lovely gentleman in the buffet serving area for ensuring we had a spare dish for our prawns. These three individuals surpassed the standards of excellence in customer service and just had to be publicly recognised. WOW! Thank you so much for a truly magnificent experience.

Good entertainment venue. Convenient location. Lots of parking. They also have lots of large function rooms. A few cafes and restaurants. Some great poker tournaments are held there very often.

Being a sharks member for over the last 3 years I have been coming regularly, however this will be my last visit to the club, first the food is amazing however given I have a berry allergy I am limited to one or two cakes this club does not help those with allergies to get there moneys worth, second came to celebrate my partner’s graduation and she wanted to use her birthday voucher however told we needed to swipe her card in her birthday month which I said to the lady they we not aware of this and she voiced that they changed there policy few years back, that’s cool but make your customers aware of this when they sign up not just here’s your card and that be $5 thanks, never will be returning you have spoiled one special night.

Went there for an event. Couldn't have been better. Food was great. Service was great too.

Joined as a member when arrived to get discounts which was good. But the price of beer went up after the first beer by .20c ..then noticed they were charging a fee (.11c) for card use on my debit card which to my knowledge is illegal .Others in our group where using credit cards..same charge .When I pointed this out , they said it was a management decision. So I then paid in cash but they would not reduce the cost and said it was already a discounted price.This price gouging is a rip off for all unawarethat is happening.Not a good look for tourists and locals alike.For a large supposedly Community based club they should gave a look in the mirror.On the up side food price was reasonable and high quality.

Buffet.In my opinion the food is not as good as it was years ago.Prawns look good, but no ham available.And wasn't told the drink cups were extra, so had to stand in line again while the kids waited for me.

The food was good but many of the dishes had no description of what they are. Many of the dishes i was told were spicy and i can’t have spicy foods which makes choices for me limited. your remodel of the toilets look nice but are two small now for a person with a wheelchair or walker.
