Optus Rundle Mall
This store will sell you incompatible accessories on top of your plan which you think is a great offer! They will also put hidden charges on top which was not part of the contract you originally signed! I be going in there again and If they cannot replace my device with something that actually works I be going to the ombudsman! You’d expect people who work for a telecommunications store to know what they are selling and if it’s compatible with your device. This is the third time I have had it replaced only to have found out recently it does not work for my new Apple Watch!!!

The service Optus Pause is advertised on posters in the store. This service has not worked for me for over two months. The Unley store told me to go to the Rundle Street store as they have more experienced staff and sometimes technical staff. The staff member who served me in the Rundle Street store told me they did not have technical support and did not want to have anything to do with me. He could not tell me how to solve the problem and I was forced to ring the technical phone number again. After being on hold for one hour while in the store, I was given a technical number to go home with for my technical fault. I went to say that I was going home and could he please let the Unley store know they have know technical support so that nobody else wasted their time like me. He was with two customers who had been in the store for 20min. I had been there an hour and a half. “I was told can’t you see I’m busy”. I still have not got a solution as to why Optus Pause does not work even though it is advertised as a service in your stores.

Anytime I’ve visited this store they asked me to call the customer service number, whether it be to pause my service, add international calling or if I had trouble registering online. Makes me wonder what all those people in the store do except selling you the “not Optus” products hanging on the walls.

Anyone going to Optus, if you can, go straight to Shub. He’s a great help there and can solve any queries. He is very helpful, friendly and knows all the stuff there. I really recommend to get your enquiries with Shub. Good bloke!

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING A NEW PHONE OUTRIGHT OR CONTRACT!Came here to purchase a new iPhone on a contract, the sales lady that dealt with us was very friendly and helpful clearly knew her job quite well.Unfortunately when we left the store and opened the phone we noticed small scratches on the screen itself, we brought this straight back to the shop less than 5 minutes after purchasing and the lady really didn’t know what to do as she had not experienced this before, (totally understandable)So she called her Manager this is where it all went completely DOWNHILL and is now one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever experienced.The Manager said they can not replace the phone, as we did not open it in the store so basically not much they can do really. I was quite annoyed when I heard this, I suggested it should be their policy that everyone opens them in the store in front of them if that is the case!!!Then she said would need to see it herself and decide “IF” it had these scratches (they were clearly under the screen) quite obvious it was damaged in production.Since they “couldn’t” replace the phoneI asked if we could then cancel the contact and return the phone to them as I would have not purchased this had I have known these scratches were on there, again this was a no. Everything I suggested or asked for was a no. Even to the point of them asking me to keep the phone and use my insurance to claim for a new one in a month or two!!I refused to leave the store with the phone again as I did not want to be blamed further for anything.Left the store very disappointed with no phone but a contract for one!!!Something that easily could have been sorted in a matter of days or weeks turned into a 6 week long process in dealing with the Optus customer care team who were all actually quite helpful and found it hard to understand why the phone was just not replaced insistently in store at the time.The manager at Optus Rundle mall is extremely rude, dismissive and really needs to work on her customer service!!Been a long time customer with Optus and this whole situation has really turned me off.

The worst experience ever! Ask for a 14 pro ma, the guy sold me a 14 pro!!! When I got home and realized this, I went back to speak to the store manager. She is totally nuts, unprofessional and wouldn’t help at all! Refused to chat to Optus complaints, they said they had never come across this. All I want is the phone I ordered! She should not have a job! As for he useless staff that are puppets saying they can’t do anything without her approval.My advice never shop at this store!!!!!!!The store manager is a witch!

I am extremely happy with the experience I had with Yusra at Rundle Mall. She is so professional as well as empathetic & friendly. I was there to cancel a contract made fraudulently with my ID that had been stolen. She was empathetic from the start & made sure all was settled before I left. The process will take a few days, but she is going to follow up & keep me in the loop. She is a very intuative & knowledgeable manager. Thank you Yusra!
