Woodlands Retreat

Really appreciated Jim and Ash in helping us with a last minute booking but also a last minute cancellation. We were unable to attend a booking we secured last minute and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful when we needed to cancel in a short space of time. It will only make me want to book in the future as the place looks sensational.

Huge disappointment since our amazing stay here last year. Arrived on a wet and cold Sunday with no dry wood for the fireplace. Even the wood and matches indoors next to the fireplace were wet. After multiple attempts to contact Ash, we were told to source our own dry wood for the 5 days that we're staying. According to Ash, her supply would not be delivered until the following week. It rained the whole week, there was even hail storm and temperature got really low. It's just not viable without a working fireplace but we're expected to get our own firewood, even though we're supposed to be on a holiday. Ash mentioned that in future she will make sure there's enough dry wood on rotation. Hopefully, she keeps her word as I won't want what we've gone through to happen to any of the guests.

Amazing place

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful Porongurup forest as far as the eye can see. Every little detail about the chalet is taken care of and if you like a hot spa with a view - you'll love Woodlands Retreat. Absolutely recommend!
