Side burns left un even and high, communication gaps between what was desired and what was received for beard, odd hairs left around mouth. Good for a cheap and cheerful potentially.

First haircut I've had in years that I've been happy with. Josh was amazing and visibly skilled. The owner gave me some helpful styling advice. Very professional. I was extremely impressed by their hygiene standards - especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

I was served by an older gentleman. He cut my ear, drew blood and then blamed it on my mask!? I asked for the my fringe to be kept long and the sides short but he clearly did not listen and he cut the tops way to short. Charged $35 cash which is on the higher end for a quick clip (perhaps inflated due to high demand post lockdown but still not worth what was provided). Will not be going there again.

Absolutely terrible experience. The barber who cut my hair was stubborn, rude and in a hurry to finish. When I made a suggestion, he took it as a personal attack on him and refused to do what I asked for. He kept rambling on about how long he had been cutting hair for and how I had no right to tell him how to do his job. His final cut was very different to what I asked him for at the start, and he took off way more than I wanted.I don't think this barber understands that cutting hair is not a 'trade' as he compared it to. A barbers job is to listen to the needs of the customer, after all, they are the ones that have to wear the haircut for the next month or two.To make it even worse, he started asking his colleague to agree with him, instead of listening to my needs and opinion. It was almost as if he didn't care what I said, he wanted to cut my hair how he pleased and if I didn't like it, I was insulting his ability to cut hair. Not the best attitude for a barber if you ask me.I would not recommend Gordon Barber to anyone unless they want to be ignored and treated poorly. This was my first and definitely my last experience here.

I have been a regular here for the past few years, and I've always loved the quality service.The quality of the hair cuts is always exceptional. My barber Eddy is very skilled and knows the perfect way to cut my hair, suited to my hair style and hair texture. I always get a cut that grows back nicely and is exactly what I ask for. .Also all the staff are really friendly, personable and always up for a laugh.Will be back soon!

My son had a hair cut here. It was poorly done with no care. Really choppy hair cut. We went back for a review. Was told it was his hair that was wrong not the cut (really? Never had that problem before. Funny that. ) his scissor where not sharp hence hair still looks chopped. Not coming back.

Don’t go here if you have medium or even slightly long hair. They won’t listen to you and will botch your hair completely. Probably a good place to get a simple short haircut but don’t expect any kind of response from your barber when you ask for a specific thing. Honestly just poor overall.

The male staff was not patient and being grumpy from the first minute. Pushing my head around really hard making me feel I was being punished. I offered a suggestion afterwards. There was no apologies but blaming me moving my head all the time. Actually I tried to be as still as possible after the first time he pushed me like this. $30 for a normal crew cut with such service was way overpriced.

Recently had my hair cut by the most condescending, rude, unfriendly Eastern-European barber here. Do not recommend coming here.I was coming for a haircut after spending the previous day at the beach. The barber humiliated me in front of the entire store after he found a few grains of sand in my hair that did not wash out. He told everyone that I disrespected him" and that it was a "joke". I apologised and told him that I would be more careful in future. But it did not stop him from ranting about the prices of his tools: "Do you know how much these scissors cost? $360! And it costs $60 to sharpen them!" Extremely unprofessional and discourteous.I have been coming to Gordon Barber for about 5 years now but will not be returning. His behaviour was rude and unprofessional and I left feeling embarrassed and ashamed."

Just had my first haircut of 2020 (in July) with these guys.Very impressed, It's the first haircut I've had in years that I've been happy with. I think they've got a repeat customer.They do not have EFTPOS facilities but as an alternative to cash they are accepting straight internet banking transfers as payment. This is a good workaround as I refuse to deal with cash due to COVID.
