Glen Ewin Estate Restaurant & Cellar Door
We recently had our wedding at The Gatehouse and could not recommend Glen Ewin highly enough. Katie our event manager was welcoming, kind and extremely organised and made the whole process so smooth. The rest of the staff were super friendly and accomodating. The grounds were beautiful and the food was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue!!

Glen Ewin Estate Restaurant & Cellar Door
We were the first diners for the year to enjoy their delicious breakfast menu. We had a shared platter of western style of breakfast- eggs, avocado, mushroom, tomatoes, beans etc on sourdough bread infused with fig. Cooked to perfection and served by endearing staff on the alfresco dining area of a picturesque summers' morning in the Adelaide Hills. Highly recommend and will book again soon.

Visited on Sunday 28th May LunchOrdered food: Homemade dumplings, OBE steak, Affogato with Fig Gin, Fig almond cakeThe wrap on the dumplings was soft and easy to eat, fillings were flavoursomeThe organic steak was tasty and different to the usual steaks I had eatenThe Affogato was amazing and with the combination of the espresso shot and gin, combines the flavour altogether making it an awesome dishThe almond cake was soft and melts in your mouth and the caramelized fig was easy to chew and eat

I went for fig picking and loved it. The figs were $15/kg and there were plenty to pick. You're given a cardboard crate that you take home with you. They also have their amazing fig gin that you can taste and buy.

Had a shared brunch at Glen Ewin for a nice sunday morning. Plenty of tables were available on the decking area but it was quite a nice setting. The brunch quality itself was very good with well poached eggs as a marker for me. More sour dough bread would be preferable to compliment all the other ingredients.Wait staff were generally young and seemed to be still in training. We did find that the toilet access was not well marked; I'm sure staff get sick of confirming where it is.Recommend trying it out.

Beautiful setting, breakfast is served as platters so was really not practical. It limited choice and was confusing. It was also cold when it was served. There is clearly a need for more staff, we were advised only when we arrived at 9.30am that we would need to leave at 11 am. However, our food was not served until 10.40!
