Called up for a price for engine reco or replacement. Was told straight away that parts arent available and he wouldn't do it. Was then advised to throw the whole car away. Terrible service when multiple other shops were happy to help me out.

The owner is a good talker but 2 out of 2 engines reconditioned" had to go back to be reconditioned again"

Thought I would have to buy a new engine and recondition it but they fixed my old one saving me a small fortune very happy to recommend thanks Peter

I have had a few engine rebuilt by the guys here, to best honest both cars have never had any problems, they know what they are doing, fast service too.

A bit hit & miss with these guys.I've had engines done here (engine/clutch/radiator) for $2,500 and driving it three days later which I thought exceptional turn around for a work vehicle and competitively priced.One of those vehicles still going hard and was reco'd 175k ago. In fact, had it to the tyre place after the reco to see what the problem with my rear tyres was - they would not keep spinning! In hindsight, I would speculate that Pedro rebored that motor as it goes harder than when I bought it and it still does not burn oil. Remarkable.On the other hand, I've had other vehicles through that place in a three day turnaround but blowing smoke after 200k and on one occasion timing gear fell off engine after 80k. I would again speculate and say that the engine in question was not rebored but just re-ringed with new pistons & bearings and that timing gear and balance shaft bearings/seals did not appear to have been touched as oil was leaking from oil seals on front of engine when the timing gear fell off. Those seals on balance shafts are normally good for over 350k.Did have another bad experience. Clutch felt heavy when I picked up the vehicle. Pedro insisted it was normal but I've had these vehicles from new and know what heavy is. 12 months later whilst doing a delivery here the clutch fork snapped in his driveway! I refused to have it repaired here and drove it clutchless elsewhere. Sure enough, the clutch fork had not been positioned on the indent ball when clutch had been reassembled causing the heavy feel and consequent breakage.Would I go here again? Yep. In spite of a couple of less than ideal experiences, it's a quick turnaround and a one stop shop for engine removal and reco. Just keep your receipts and stand your ground when things go wrong. Pay the extra and get your engines rebored rather than re-ringed. They have the gear to do it onsite and when they don't take short cuts do a fantastic job.

Toyota LandCruiser. $6000 for engine reco with a new cylinder head and all new valves at 335140 kms. Now at 378527 and cylinder 1 exhaust valve failure. $6000 for 43,000kms - would not recommend.

No star would be more appropriate. Paid $6500 for reco motor sent it back for repair again a week after getting it back. Now for the third time Peter does not even claim responsibility for not putting the motor back together properly. Rude neglectful and disgusting workmanship. FAIR TRADING WILL PUT THIS COMPANY IN ITS PLACE. My car is still under warranty and I cant get it fixed because he cant be trusted.
