Great service - am new to area and called ahead the day before to ask if they had a new headlight bulb for my model of car. They said they did and to come in next day without appointment. They replaced bulb and when I went in to pay said it was on them. Thank you Motorserve.

When I took my car to motor serve to renew registration and do service inspection on early Monday morning after it opened, the guys who work at the front desk are very calm and friendly, and provided complimentary service to the car itself, when I got the car just hours after you guys finished doing the inspection , FYI the service centre was closed at the time I got the car, however no issues with the car compared to past service inspections at motor serve. Well apart from that great service from the team, you guys are the best !!

Overdue service to brakes and shock absorbers. Quality kit installed, i am told. Car is a dream to drive now.

A very long story... my recently acquired 2nd hand 1997 VW Transporter, 2.5 litre 5 cylinder, manual van's gear linkage broke, while driving half way up War Veterans Parade Narrabeen. Having driven 115 Kilometres from Halekulani, Central Coast to Narrabeen, to entertain the residents of Anzac Village, several days before Christmas. I managed to roll the van down the steep hill into Jamieson Park. I rang the other musician who came and rescued me, transferring my music gear into his car. Then driving up the hill, unloading all the music gear, setting up and played our electric guitars and sang to the retired residents for 2 hours. Afterwards loading all the gear back into his car, he then drove me to Chatswood Station. The next day I drove my partner's car to Greenwich, Sydney to retrieve all of my music equiptment, then I drove to Jameson Park, Narrabeen. It was Saturday afternoon and none of the local repair places were open so I continued home (115 Kilometres). Monday I drove back to Narrabeen again to organise the NRMA to tow the van to an automotive repairer. When I rang the NRMA I was asked where did I wish the van to be towed to ? Since I do not live at Narrabeen, I had absolutely no idea where to have the van towed to. The young fellow at the NRMA then said I should ring around and find someone who can fix the gear linkages ! I asked if the van could be towed back to my local VW mechanic, assuming I was in the highest level of roadside assistance cover. He replied that will cost $369 and I was only entitled to 50 kilometres towing in the Sydney Metro. I said I did not want to ring around and preferred to drive to North Narrabeen industrial area to try and find a mechanic that could fix the gear linkage. A large VW sign was displayed at one of the many repairers

I took my car to Motor Serve to have a noise in my brakes fixed. They had the car for 4 days, (6 including Saturday and Sunday). Not only did they not fix my problem, they installed a new CV Driveshaft, which was not needed. All up for parts and labour they charged me $657.00.I took my car to another mechanic, who fixed the brake problem with sandpaper and only charged me $132 for labour.The manger of Motor Serve Narrabeen never returned my calls.I would recommend Motor Serve Narrabeen to any one, even my worst enemy, as they are clearly rip-off merchants.I will now take my case to Fair Trade NSW to seek a full refund.G Followill - Elanora Heights
