Friendly & very caring staff. Nice clean waiting room & treatment rooms. Wheelchair friendly. They do house visits & help wildlife as well. A true ‘country’ veterinary practice.

Minimal care given to our pet cat. Sent home to us suffering and without sufficient treatment.Have taken her to a different vet clinic who has her on iv of fluids, pain relief and antibiotic and keeping her overnight. She has injuries, is in pain, dehydrated and by late morning she was displaying some worrying neurological disruptions (she can't walk properly and has trouble lifting her head).I called Bowenfels Vet clinic at 8:40am this morning to let them know my cat (that they had in their clinic all day the day before) had collapsed and was in poor shape, and I also wanted to ask why they they had not given her pain relief or fluids among other questions...I was told the vet (Julie) would call me back. She did not call me back so I booked our cat in at another clinic at 11am.Still waiting for Julie to call to check in on our cat and maybe explain what happened at her clinic (it's now 6pm).I will never use this clinic again.

On a sad note Julie is closing the vet clinic so sad to c her go and bowenfels vets clinic closing it doors because she can't get no1 to take over it's a gr8 clinic and a gr8 biz CLOSING DEC THIS YRwell my poor cat hit by a car and I took her there they told me after xray that she had a broken pelvis they sent the xray off to a vet who deals with them kind of problems and he told them they could not do it as there was not alot of bone to put a plate as it may not hold and break the bone more so they pushed it back in line backup she has to b cage for 1 month they could have charged me 3000 4 the op but was honest about it most vets would just say we can op just to get the money all up 4 my cat was 4 2 xrays 2 days in hosp push it back in place meds and being seen by the vet and food 750 .well I know we're to go to if I need to . Remember stay safe and smile b nice to each other

Julie and her team are kind, caring and supportive in their care of animals. Julie and her staff have a great knowledge of how best to look after animals, and go above and beyond what care is normally expected of them. A big thank you to them for 10 years of care to my pets.

I can't explain just how wonderful they are here. Over the years they have always been kind, helpful and compassionate. Recently one of their vets helped save the life of a stray, without charging me I was given advice on how to aid the recovery of this poor cat, when anyone else would have just discarded her. This clinic has restored my faith in vet professionals as true animal lovers rather than a business that only runs to make money - THANK YOU!

Had both our dogs treated here. Very genuine and professional team. Felt welcome and at ease talking with the vets.Even with Covid challenges, service was excellent. Clean environment and very happy K9.Thank you and keep up the awesome work you’re doing.
