Chuan Spa

Been here twice now and felt it wasn’t worth the money. Told the masseuse that I can take a lot of pressure and am used to have deep tissue massage, instead I got relaxation massage. It’s okay but does nothing for my knots. Facial is average too. Front of staff needed reminder for take home gift. They are actually very indifferent, seems to be in a rush. I don’t think I’m coming back.

I bought a deep tissue massage for my wife for mother's day. Disappointingly, she had a very mixed experience. She reports that the masseuse was lovely. However I'd booked a deep tissue massage for her and apparently the only person capable of this was off sick. So she got a relaxation massage, which kinda defeated the point. And I'm told the front-of-house staff were indifferent and ambivalent from the start, without even the willingness to make eye contact when my wife said goodbye on leaving. Not cool.

We had a package that cost around $260 each. The massage was fine, as was the facial but I just didn't feel it was worth the money. The package came with desert and sparkling wine. No changes allowed. For instance, you can't have still wine instead. The reason is that the sparkling wine was a little on the cheaper side I am guessing (by how it tasted) The desert platter was 4 small stale tasteless cakes. I would recommend to look elsewhere if you want something that doesn't feel just a bit of a rip off. The location was good though

I had a wonderful day at The Langham Hotel..! I started with an amazing high tea, then had a drink on the pool deck, followed by the most incredible 60 minute massage. Kelly was my therapist and was so good. She asked where I wanted her to focus and how much pressure to use. I’ve had so many massages over the years and this was, by far, the best one I’ve ever had. We finished with another drink on the pool deck, enjoying the wonderful view. Best day ever!

Not worth it. The massage is so bad, not even worth $20. A kid could do exactly the same massage.The facial is nothing that will make you feel better, usually you see results straight after a facial treatment, not in this case.And not as important as the above but the carpets, sofas, all the furniture is so old, it looks dirty. Definitely not an atmosphere you expect from a spa.It needs a lot of maintenance.

Very poor service on all levels, from reception to massage to very average facial. The furnishings were stained, dirty and in desperate need of updating. More a one star hotel standard. First and last time. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere for a spa experience.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered at a spa. Booked for a large group and it was truly disappointing how awful the service was to book the appointments. Terribly unprofessional. We were given boxes of chocolates as a gesture for the mishaps.. BUT the chocolates had expired 4 months ago!Such a pity that their service is disappointing because the ambiance and facilities are beautiful. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this spa to anyone.

I've been here twice and first massage was great, second was awful. I asked 3 times if she could apply some pressure and it just didn't happen. It felt like someone was just rubbing sunscreen on me. I booked for 90 mins and was actually bored. They also are not size inclusive. Robes don't cover large chested woman and despite my providing that feedback they hadn't actioned it by the time of second visit. They had to send up for a large robe and when she came down she looked me up and down and said oh I need to go back and get the biggest one. I waited and in the end went into my treatment with my dress on. The robe was given to me after my very bad massage and by that point I didnt want to use the spa or sauna I just wanted to leave. They made me feel bad about my body - twice. I agree with the feedback of others, it's not worth it.

Sitting in the hot tub while looking out at that view is amazing. The pool could be larger, however, it is a lovely spot. The spa treatment was as expected from a high end location.
