Hepburn Spa Retreat

Was skeptical for attending Hepburn Spa retreat due to all the mixed reviews but safe to say my partner and I absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were sparkling clean and everything worked perfectly fine.Rating 4 stars as unfortunately they are terrible at answering the phone, do not have wifi so we were stuck using our data, however, luckily we were able to have recorded movies on our foxtel in the room from previous guests! And lastly, you would expect complimentary vouchers to the Bathhouse for the price you pay, however, overall was a good stay and do recommend for a relaxing holiday

My partner and I booked the Hepburn Spa Retreat as it was listed as ‘5 star’.In room #1 there were marks on the walls, one room had paint peeling off, the spa had silicon missing along the seal line + the aircon struggled to keep the room cool on a warm day.My partner left her dress behind in the closet after we left and after multiple calls about this over several days the staff were useless locating the dress and only 1 person out of multiple staff handled this issue with care and professionalism (thank you Matt).Don’t stay here if you want a 5 star experience and only if you want a 3 star with 1 star service.

It is not very enticing or welcoming when enquiring what services, prices etc are on offer to be told to check thecwebsite!The receptionist could not be bothered with us as customers which resulted in us going elsewhere.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights at the Spa Retreat during the long weekend. Upon entering we were greeted by a large huntsman that had made home in the corner of the kitchen and continued to find 2 more of his friends over the next 2 nights. On our second night we decided to make use of the beautiful spa in the room but after 20 mins of waiting for it to fill we found that unfortunately spa didn't work. After contacting reception at 10:30am about the issue we were offered a new villa with a working spa at 3:45pm for the remaining 19 hours of hours stay (10 of those were spent sleeping) so we could at least enjoy the biggest attraction of the accommodation once during our stay. Aside from the few hiccups the place was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Definitely an amazing way to spend my birthday weekend. Absolutely Gorgeous Villa's with a marble wrapped big spa bath in the room, twin showers and tvs in both bedroom and lounge area also with a gas log and central heating to stay warm and toasty. I give Hepburn spa retreat a 5 star rating out of 5. Kitchen is lovely and clean and great service considering we arrived later than expected. Would recommend time and time again.

I read all the negative reviews before coming here and was very nervous I made the wrong choice booking this place. But I had absolutely no significant issues with my accomodation at all. Yes it’s expensive but I believe they have read prior reviews and have improved. The apartment was clean, neat, warm and stylish. Loved the fireplace which we kept on all day. The bed was comfortable. It had wifi and phone reception. Everything was in working order. We didn’t really need to use the kitchen much aside from making tea. I do think for a 5 star accomodation it could have come with some better gourmet tea’s and maybe some local goodies to welcome us as the tea supplied was very basic and lacking. They could do with a better quality couch too. But otherwise the view was really nice and could have stayed here a couple more days and been content.

Absolutely loved the room. The jacuzzi was HUGE and almost as good as the bathhouse if you add bubbles haha.The bed was super comfy and loved the big tv above the bed. Maybe we lucked out with one of the better units (no. 4) but was very happy with the experience.

The spa was a enjoyable feature of the accommodation unfortunately the sealing around the spa was cracked. The villa are advertised and priced as 5 star rated they are not. The villa we stayed at was poorly maintained dirty walls, dusty curtains, cup and glass stains on surfaces from previous guests. Glasses and cups not clean and glasses mismatched. Generally the villa need a deep clean.There was one saucepan for cooking no other pots or pans to cook with and not enough utensils.There is no WiFi available for guests.Overall the villa is overpriced and I would not recommend spending that much money for 3 star accommodation.Hepburn springs is a beautiful area and well worth the visit. The staff we spoke with were very friendly and accommodating.

The most perfect birthday weekend!We booked a package which included a nights accommodation and a day at the spa plus a bunch of extra treats such as roses, wine and chocolates waiting for me at check in, which I absolutely loved.The room was huge and a great layout, the spa was incredible and fireplace a great winters touch.Only a short drive to all the shops and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the springs.Can’t wait to go back ♥️
