Expected 5 star service and got 6+.Jamie looked after us and his service was outstanding. What a lovely, efficient chap.The steak was perfect, the vegetables were exquisite, we loved everything about our meal.The dry aged Porterhouse was cooked medium rare and melted in your mouth. The Scotch Fillet was perfect.Thank you Jamie for a wonderful experience.

As a solo traveller, it is always a treat going out for a steak, and this place did not disappoint. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I hadn't had a sit-down meal for a while, so I was very excited to see the amount of vegetables and the quality of food. My rump was cooked to perfection, and it was one of the best pepper sauces I've ever had. I'll definitely be coming back if in Hobart again.

Dry aged porterhouse. As good as it sounds. Cooked perfectly at medium rare. Good menu if steak is your go to as they had plenty of cuts and a good selection of dry aged cuts too. All cooked over coal. Perfect sear. The place was relatively busy which isn't surprising. Would recommend for a nice night out.

Great place. I loved the ambience, the service offered. This was our last dinner at Hobart and it was a great closing to our trip. We had the Eyefilet, and fish of the day and ceviche for entrée. Wines and whiskey for drinks. Everything good, however the fish lacked a sense of fishy character.

The food was sensational, steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare to our liking. To my surprise the soup of the day (creamy cauliflower soup with bacon and blue cheese) was delicious as I am not a huge fan of blue cheese. Friendly and helpful staff..Highly recommended, will definitely come back again when I'm visiting Hobart.

A lovely meal with friends, I don't normally eat steak but went with the 200gm eye fillet. I like my steak medium, and it was just right. A delicious side of roast veggies and a mushroom and bacon gravy.... really good.

My wife, daughter and I attended her last night I didn't get our waiters name but we sat at table 50 and our waiter was amazing very helpful and understanding with our little girl.The food was amazing we had the salt and pepper squid starter and my daughters lasagne was one of the best I've ever tasted on a kids meal. Now to the steak wow it was so tender and cooked to perfection.I highly recommend the ball and chain restaurant I had an amazing time out with my girls.
