Mount Bright Lookout

Fun drive to get there the view was a bit of let down due to the weather. Lots of wallabys on the road, take it easy and it's a pleasant drive.... love the perspective when overlooking some of the vineyards below.

View from the actual point is good and I liked the views on the way also beautiful. The road is a bummer as towards the end about 3 km is just mud road.

Gorgeous lookout. I get the impression its relatively popular with the locals... particularly locals that don't know how to take rubbish with them... and locals that love a bit of spray paint... kinda more of an edge of mountain rather than a lookout... still cool though.

Took my wife and step son here and it was such an amazing view. There is so much dumped rubbish around though and saw someone doing drugs rush away as we got there

Amazing lookout with an exquisite view off the escarpment with the vineyards arrayed beneath, it is a hidden haven in the mountains with towering gums and a patchwork of pastoral fields! After checking out the view from Bimbadeen Lookout, we followed the Mount Bright Road that leads up to this Mount Bright Lookout. It is a magical place along a unique trail hidden away on the mountaintop and there is also a beautiful stone where you can find lush green hills and majestic mountains and take breathtaking photos. It is hidden away in the corner and needs some finding, but it is worth searching out. Just be careful as the stone can be slippery on raining days.

Worth the drive.Relaxing view.Small cars might have a hard time traversing.Visitors should start caring for nature and STOP leaving their rubbish.

open lookout with some good views of the hunter valley.. gravel road to go up.. best option to drive back the same way as you go up.. the other route is completely off road and risky

Great view overlooking the Hunter Valley at sunset. Place is rundown however, with broken bottles and graffiti. No toilets or amenities.

Brilliant view. But full of broken beer bottles, takeaway wrappers, old cans. If it was cleaned up a little, it could be great for families.

Nice view at the lookout. Small dirtroad to het there. Carpark also small but not too many ppl go there I guess. Some do leave their rubbish at the lookout..
