Gorgeous view, with parking and picnic areas

Mangrove Creek Dam
Nice drive to a good view of the dam. The parking space has tables and benches and even covered BBQ facilities but other parts are blocked by wire fencing around areas that had been damaged from a major bushfire from a few years ago. Very pretty early in the morning if misty.

I have always enjoyed taking people to the Dam. But on Wednesday it was closed to maintenance. No warning until we were on the Mountain. Bumble Hill Road is dangerous because of potholes. Better use Peats Ridge Road.
