Large area for picnics or ball games. Local skate park with jumps and ramps. Kids playground with slides,swing and climbing wall. Close to Lara shopping Centre. Lara community Centre and Lara library. Electric bbqs available for cooking. Downside no real shade on hot days. Water fountain situated near playground and public toilet.

Great park for kids to ride scooters, skateboards or play.

The older kids hang out here sometimes, and block using parts of the playground. However, it's a great little playground, and Lara Village shopping centre also has an ant trail playground close by that the kids like too. Also concrete paths, so kids can easily go from one to the other.

Dry uninspired planting. I'm assuming they are trying to replicate the Simpson desert here in Victoria? Typical unimaginative Australian park really.
