A solid Arabian venue in Toowoomba. Service was friendly.The vegetarian banquet was a just a modified (and cut down) version of the meat version - which was a little disappointing. The dips however were fantastic.

Food could not be faulted; absolutely delicuous and plenty of it.We had the Regular Banquet for two and left very satisfied.Lovely staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere.Bottleshop is only a 5 minute walk if you forget the BYO.

Food is always fantastic! Atmosphere is a little lacking - poor acoustics can make conversations difficult if you're in a larger group. Service is solid.

I have never had such an awful dining experience in Australia. We ordered the banquet. The first course of pita bread and dips tasted like the entire selection came from Coles. The second course involved extremely dry chicken and chewy meat, that was clearly cooked well before we ordered. After the second course was taken away, we sat for 30 minutes waiting for our dessert and tea. After 30 minutes, I walked to the counter and asked if our desserts were coming and the staff member at the front counter was completely confused, had no idea we were waiting on desserts and tea as part of the banquet, and said that the wait staff had gone home during our meal so they had no idea about other orders in the restaurant. Being the only two people there at 8pm on a Friday, how it did not occur to them to ask during the 30 minutes if we were waiting on anything is beyond me is beyond me.We cancelled the desserts and left extremely disappointed. The only good thing about this place is their falafel. There is a reason why Sofra’s is bustling and books, I would highly suggest going there instead of El Attar.

Delicious food!!! We did the vegetarian banquet and it was amazing. Best falafel I've ever had! Great value, will definitely be back many times.Turkish delight was also the best I've ever had!

My first visit to El Attar last Friday was a wonderful surprise. There was nothing I didn't like. We ordered the banquet and ate until almost exploding, with leftovers which we took home. The food was authentic and amazing. So many years since I've had such great Egyptian food. The Baklava was probably some of the best I've ever had.The service was quick and very friendly. A lovely waitress who was cheerful and helpful.Don't hesitate to explore this menu, we got a taste of quite a few of their offerings and there wasn't one that I wouldn't recommend.

The food here is outstanding!My partner and I shared the banquet and every single dish was delicious.The service was friendly and attentive.The atmosphere was unique.Would highly recommend.

Very average experience, the food was decent and well priced but overall I would probably just get this Uber'd instead of going in. The staff were lovely but we did end up waiting 20min for our orders to be taken and it wasn't really that busy either. The atmosphere is quite dull and a bit basic. Would get the food again but maybe just take away, definitely not worth going into dine.

Just had a wonderful meal, banquet for two, meat option, wow! Amazing food, perfectly cooked and presented. One hint, don’t eat ALL the first course, you’ll want the room to fit in the mains, absolutely delicious! We will be back.

We ordered some takeaway for a cozy movie night at home. The serving sizes were incredible (we got dinner and lunch out of our meals), the food was so yummy and my partner said it was the best kebab he has ever had. Will definitely be back!
