Lamberts Lookout
Lamberts Lookout is a great place to grab a view of the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any whales migrating but there’s no doubt that this will be the best place for that too.

Lamberts Lookout
Beautiful place with amazing views, located a short drive within Mackay and easily accessible, nice place to enjoy views and relax. There are places to sit at the top and you can park your car and stay inside while still watching the views, binoculars are available also. Plenty of birds around and if you are lucky, might even spot a dolphin!

Had a lovely experience here. Its a must as a visitor. Has lots connected to the Lamberts store in main street of yesteryear

What an amazing view of the coast, islands and rock formations. The lookout was great. Not a lot of parking spaces near the lookout but further down there were more. Then we had morning tea at the park down on the flat. Clean area and amenities.

Great lookout. Good observation spot for whales in season. Excellent sunrise and sunset views. Easy access to beach for a good little walk. Limited car parking.

Beautiful spot. Great views and spotted two sea turtles searching for food amongst the rocks.

Lamberts Lookout
A great place to see whales during whale season from the shore. If you would like to learn, you can read the numerous information stands around the look out. My kids also like the rock pools at the base.
