The lady that served me was brilliant, I explained my requirements & showed her the type of shoe I needed & we found the right type ! Will go there again for sure !

I found the male sales person at this store in Grafton to be extremely pushy. He has been running this shop for years and in the past he has been quite rude and unpleasant. He’s lifted his game a bit but after my recent experience with him I will never buy shoes from him again. Unfortunately he gets away with his behaviour as he has the monopoly on comfortable footwear in Grafton. Shoex doesn’t have a competitor in this town. After buying a pair of shoes recently I wanted another pair that he didn’t have in stock. He said the ones I wanted were arriving in the next order that afternoon. He insisted that I should give him a deposit to secure them as they were “flying off the shelves”. I gave him $100 to do this and he said he’d call when they arrived. Two days later I went into the store to be told they hadn’t been in the new stock. Later that day he informed me he could not get them. I went back to the store yet again to get my money back. He was very reluctant to refund me my deposit saying that if I was prepared to wait for three weeks they’d be there. I said I would try getting them elsewhere. He insisted that I would not be able to get them anywhere and that Turkey was in lockdown and if I didn’t order them from him I would miss out. What a crock!! I got the exact pair I wanted from a lovely lady at Carneys shoe store in McLean ( 30 mins away)for $50 cheaper!!!

I phoned asking male sales person the availability of a croc branded flip flop I wanted to purchase. He said yes they have it. But he kept referring to another type & insisted it was the one I wanted & it was the best selling etc.Well he was wrong. It was a different flip flop which I confirmed on the croc website after our conversation. A very pushy ignorant sales person. No wonder small businesses are struggling. I ended up ordering on line.
