Salvos Stores Kyneton

What a great store. I popped in just to have a quick look around and hopefully pick up a pair of jeans and I ended up purchasing two ex Army jackets. One field coat and one newish type jacket the Army must have trialled for a short period before taking them out of service. A great buy at $50 for the pair. I will definitely be going back again.

Clean, very helpful friendly staff, great selection of well set out and displayed items.Worth a return visit.

Store and volunteers are lovely. Ridiculously overpriced though, just like all Salvos 'charities' these days.

Overpriced. People pricing items in this store are smoking the wakky tobacky. Found the Broadsheet cookbook for $80 in there. New it's only $50. $80 for a second hand book in an op shop?!Op shops are meant to be cheap and provide bargains, not scalp high prices because you looked it up on eBay.

Often very cool stuff there- got a Dangerfield top that I LOVE today and a majorly comfy retro couch. However way overpriced. Who comes to an opshop to spend $20 on a skirt? Not me anyway. Salvos charges $5 for a books Vinnies prices at $1.50. I think that their famous pricing system they blame when you ask them to drop it a little is totally up the putt. I am happy to pay heaps for stuff that is worth it, but hey it is still only a shop housing everyone else's rejects. Ones girls trash, another girls treasure and all that but I go to opshop's to get bargains not to pay full price. On that note, I truly respect all the people who put in their time to Salvos to help the needy so thank you!

Great store! Items for sale have all been cleaned and are generally of good quality. Staff are friendly and helpful.
