Martin's Bakery Ballina

So delicious, got chunky pies and they are so full of flavour, pastry is light and best we've had in town so far. Bacon and cheese pie actually tastes like bacon with all the goodness inside instead of on top.Coffee is strong and smooth, barista here knows how to make coffee. Everything was the perfect temperature to dig right in.The jam and cream cinnamon donut roll thing was amazing and the little pear and almond slice.Staff are wonderful, and venue is clean, plenty of parking. All round perfect.Yum yum

BEST SANDWICH SHOP EVER!!Visiting our Uni daughter from Forster, we were having trouble finding a sandwich shop in the area. A trolley guy from Ballina Fair gave us directions to Martins and we never looked back. Their salad sandwiches were awesome - so delicious and fresh! The service was fantastic too. With a steady stream of customers coming through the door the ladies behind the sandwich bar were cheery, professional and worked together like a well oiled machine.Suffice to say this was our “go to” lunch stop every day until we had to come home. We won’t think twice about Martins Bakery as our lunch stop for future visits!

Freshly made chicken and salad wrap and roll made on the spot to your taste, what more could you ask for. Plenty of choices, including vegan.

Pies sausage rolls cakes great sandwiches are really good and very reasonably priced love the chicken sandwich

I spent day and night in Ballina hospital and sick days after due to ordering meat salad roll lunch from Martin's highlighting NO CUCUMBER due to Allergy. Instead they added CUCUMBER claiming that SOME PEOPLE just don't like cucumber as their excuse??? Also that it was MY FAULT for not adding my full medical disclosure on my lunch orders?Apparently HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CUCUMBER and NO CUCUMBER ALLERGIC wasn't enough??Mind you we had ordered EVERY DAY for a week each day via a TAFE group and EVERY day all lunches were not marked named resulting in me having to swap my lunch with other students and other students also not getting what they ordered.The 4th day was when I was poisoned by Martins bakery and anaphylaxis near killed me. Scabby burns on ny eyes mouth and face remained near 2 weeks on.As for their response yes I'm beyond disgusted and my entire Tafe class likewise were disgusted in my treatment and will NEVER be using this bakery againVery unprofessional management and poor food handling.I'd give less then one star as they are worth less but won't post without a star.

My partner and I loved the pies and quiche Lorraine here! We came for a super late lunch at 4:45pm yesterday, knowing they were shutting at 5pm and they heated up some pies for us as they had sold out. Also gave us a little treat! Food was so good, we came back the next morning for brunch. SO GOOD!

One of my favourite spots for lunch in Ballina. Excellent, friendly service every time I’ve been there and really good food - sandwiches, quiche, pies, sausage rolls, lamingtons, donuts - all amazing and really reasonable prices especially compared to other bakeries in the Northern Rivers. Pies are especially affordable with really beautiful pastry and fillings. I tell everyone about this place!

Curry chicken pie is foul, curry flavoured goop with peas. Whole pie had two tiny bits of chicken

We had mini pies, sausage roll and quiche and they were absolutely delicious! We were eating outside and went back in for more :-) All the people work there were very friendly and make you feel welcomed. Highly recommended!
