Jourama Falls
Currently closed due to water over causeway. Ranger closed the gate on entrance to the NP. There is a sign just of the highway which tells you if it's open or not. Note we where still be able to book the camp ground so don't trust the info online.Otherwise beautiful spot :)

Open. 5km of dirt road in. The lookout is worth the 500m climb. 40 mins return. Best swimming is at the rock pools, only a few meters into the track. Warning: The mosquitoes are epic! Load up with spray before you hit the track; spray your clothing as well.

Beautiful walk. Pack water and food if needs be. There is the falls and the water wholes. Took us no more than an hour to walk it and you can stay longer if you like. Pack a towel if you want to dip your toes. There are toilets at the camp site. Enjoy!

Beautiful views at every stage of this hike. Make sure to wear bug repellent because the march flies are horrendous, and bring plenty of water for when you're hiking up to the lookout. Saw the local brush turkeys and some curious turtles came to check out what we doing. Well worth the trip.

Fantastic walk and a great place to spend a humid NQ day at. much quieter than some of the other local rockpools and slides in the area. Take water and beware the big March flies that live there.

Nice falls and rock pools. Bush walking track is well maintained. Visited in August. Dry conditions but water still flowing. 6km off Bruce Highway with about 3km of good gravel road. In the wet season, the two fords may become impassible after rain

Absolutely beautiful. Great facilities, and the walking trail is amazing. We even got to see the residents who live in the area. (Eastern brown snake)

We only went to the crossing of the little creek as a couple of ladies with us would not cross it. There was a little water flowing it it unbalanced them however I am 66 and walked across easily. If you have no balance issues it’s ok. But what we discovered was beautiful and hubs and I will do the full walk next week. Magical place.
