Don’t usually post reviews however this joint deserves the praise. The schnitzel burger w/ the lot and medium chips was the epitome of value for money, with large portion size and tasted fantastic. The service was quick and staff polite. 5 stars, do yourself a favour and stop at Cafe West.

Amazing food, generous portions and great value. Service was friendly and fast, great for a quick meal and decent coffee between Canberra and Melbourne. Will definitely be back.

If you’re on the road and need a good feed, look no further! We had the hamburger and the chicken schnitzel burger and both were fresh and so delicious. Best burger I’ve had on the road, better than maccas. The chips were also so good.

Lovely place to stop and eat.Got a burger and a coffee and was pleasently surprised. Tasty and perfect proportions. New go to spot for me on any trip north.

Best coffee in town! Also had the barramundi and chips which was some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Great parking for caravans and also pet friendly! New owners of the business were great to us and we will be back soon!

Chanced upon this fine establishment as it was the only place open on a sunday. Ordered the steak sandwich w. Lot and mate ordered the schnitzel burger w. Lot. Both were spectacular! Lots of fresh ingredients, great flavours and the cans were ice cold!!They may not be locals but they definitely having a great crack at it.

Passed through Gundagai late Sunday afternoon, and this was one of the only places open. So we gave it a go.To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement; coffee was solid AF & my schnitzel burger with the lot was outta this world.Do yourself a favour...
