The French Table Restaurant
Called to reserve an hour beforehand and the kind manager managed to get us a table on a very busy Saturday night. Wood the waiter was very friendly and made us felt really welcome. Right from the Entree, Mains to Dessert..we truly enjoyed every bite, felt we have been transported back to our trip to France! Good choice wine list.Good Food! Service and for atmosphere would be good if there is soft French cafe background music perhaps? Otherwise 5 stars!

We frequent The French Table regularly, but still not often enough, and here's why: the food, service, and wine here are simply exceptional. Without a doubt, this place boasts the best steak, wine, and dinner menu in Cleveland, and to top it off, the staff deliver the best service of any restaurant in the area. They're a real credit to the establishment, with their positive attitude, skill, knowledge, friendliness, and attentiveness (give them all a raise). We'd be hard-pressed to find another dining experience that can match what The French Table offers. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and book a table ASAP!

Delightful experience. The escargot were the best I've had in Brisbane, drenched in garlic butter, was only sorry there was not a bit more baguette for mopping up the remnants. The scallop entree was equally good, scallops were cooked perfectly. Pork main was beautifully soft and nicely flavoured with the croquette being a lovely addition. Creme brulee was as it should be, rich and creamy, not overly sweet and with a light vanilla fragrance balanced with with the slightly charred caramel. Service was warm and friendly. Only minor critique was that the table decor was a little lifeless, a flower or something bright would have been nice, and there was a bit of a wait for meals however this was explained due to understaffing with covid. Overall a lovely choice for a date and would go again.

Excellent table service friendly staff. Food was lovely.A great dinning experience...Host was there for anything we needed.. Definitely going Back. Some fine port to finish off will be on the cards ;-)

We had a mid week meal with friends, upon arrival the restaurant was quiet but cosy, the last meal we had here was amazing so we expected a great meal. We asked about the drinks menu and if they served bourbon, we were told of only the top shelf items and not the house items, this would not have been a problem if they were the only options but after the waiter talking up the exceptional food and drinks I find this is just a money grab. The baguette with truffle butter was sensational, the scallops came out warm not hot which would have been forgivable if the “special” fish main didn’t come out with raw barramundi for both my wife and myself. The wait staff apologised for the fish, however when I said about the bourbon and the lack of mentioning the house spirits the waiter said that he didn’t mention it last time because he drank it and that base level JD is a bourbon whiskey where Gentlemen Jack is a whiskey, this may have been his attempt at making lite of the situation but it just came off rude and smart arse. The scallops being not hot enough may have been an honest mistake but raw fish is a very amateur mistake, when we paid the bill the only items removed or discounted were the two fish mains, we will never go back to this restaurant again as this kind of service should not be in the food industry, I will let anyone know who asks me about this restaurant about the bad service we received this evening.

Wonderful Experience: Delicious authentic French restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, reasonable prices, great atmosphere. We had such great time with my hubby on our special Valentines Day. Would recommend the snails from the menu :) Will be definitely coming back.

From arrival to departure, dining was a great experience. We saw reviews that inferred the meal sizes were small, but this certainly wasn't the case tonight. Both meal & service could not be faulted. Highly recommended!
