The worst experience possible with a civil contractor. Workers left unsupervised and dumped fill where not required, charged for the double handling to move it where it was originally supposed to go. Cut out three times more than was required/ discussed- again, charged full rate to move all the additional fill that was never meant to come out. Dug a drain that does not drain, blocked off access to a building with a 1m high bunt- but not their problem, apparently the building needed to be 1m higher. Politely raised our concerns with the job only to be told invoice is not negotiable, would not discuss or take accountability for any of the issues and just got fobbed off when we pointed these things out on the job
