Lake Imaging - Melton

I recently visited this MRI service for my elderly moms and was a bit disappointed with the experience. Being elderly with movement impairment, my mom was requiring additional time in the change room as well as in her movements. The radiologist was rushing and insistent, and there could have been more polite communication. I also received very little briefing about the procedure which left us feeling quite anxious.However, I must say that the technician who performed the scan was efficient and professional in their approach, which was a relief. Nonetheless, the lack of briefing and communication and hastening from the radiologist made us feel quite uncomfortable and I hope that improvements can be made in this area to make the experience better for future patients. It is quite expensive service which is totally out of the pocket. The experience was not expected at all.Overall, I would rate the service 2 out of 5.

The reception staff Sandra made me wait for 15 minutes while she was sorting out her rosters. Very unprofessional and just ignored me completely.

Waiting time is absolutely disgusting they make you have a full bladder and leave you to sit there Common sence over here don’t tell people to have a full bladder if you make them wait 45 mins with that full bladder

Rude Reception staff. Asking for my wife ultrasound images. One staff told me its ready and we have already sent SMS but i didn't receive. Called again and other staff told that you will get it after 24hrs. I was explaining but they disconnected call.

Spoke with a older lady over the phone about booking my appointments as referred.She was very blunt and extremely rude, also saying to me NO Lake Imagining centres bulk bull even with a referral saying bulk billed"Have now booked in with Sunbury with no issues

I went to Lake Imaging this afternoon. My experience with the ladies at the reception was very good. They help me a lot with my struggles situation. They were friendly and patient. But I didn’t have good experience with the lady who doing my scan (if im not wrong room #1 or #4) she was quite and didn’t explain anything during my morphology scan if im not asking. She even not introduced her self like a professional. This is serious business, im sorry but im not get what i paid for.

The service at Lake Imaging Melton was exceptional when needing an emergency X-ray for a suspected fracture. We were able to get an appointment promptly and the radiologist was professional and efficient. The receptionist (Thank you Tracey) had great customer service when making the appointment getting us in easily and explaining everything thoroughly. Great service!!

I had today a calcium score test done and I had the best experience Lisa was amazing She looked after me and she make me to feel very comfortable All the team was so friendly I wish I was giving more than 5star Thank you Lisa You are amazing person

I called them today in the morning at 9:30 am for my ultrasound scan and they talked to Me over the phone for 8mins 57 secs, then I called them again at 4:30 pm for confirmation but the receptionist person said your appointment is cancelled because u called us at 9:51 am, like they guys are lying I have call record and everything, I didn't even call them after 9:30 , I booked in because it's urgent. Worst experience never booked them again. And the receptionist boy is very rude...ridiculous.

This being my first pregnancy I went for my 12 week ultrasound here, saw the sonographer, (short blond woman) before scan even started she told me it was too early to see anything through abdominal scan and she may have to do a vaginal scan to which I declined and she sighed in annoyance. Also asked me for information regarding my first ultrasound and because it’s my first time and being young with no knowledge of these things she became annoyed and told me she had to “measure everything all over again” Never got to hear my babies heartbeat either :( but after all I was jst happy to see my baby alive and kicking.
