No good.Sales team was awesome but that is where the good times stopped.We had multiple different people during the building process.We are now almost 1.5 years into living in our house, we have things that still need to be fixed.Things that were not done properly during construction and we have been told they won't be fixed, this will likely end up in some form of court.Flooring is already going bad, dent in fence from the when the slab was done.EDIT: Dent is finally fixed, took less than 5 minutes to be fixed.None of our outdoor taps are connected to our water tank like they are stated they would be in the plans.I have been calling and asking about these items for 12 months now still nothing done.Despite what they will reply to this review with they do not get things sorted.If you're looking to build a new home I would suggest going elsewhere.

Don’t recommend them at all. Go find someone else.Sales team were good when we started.But unfortunately the house quality is absolutely rubbish. Door locks not working windows can’t be closed properly floor makes funny noises constantly. Every time the ‘maintenance person’ showing up fix the problem within 10 seconds.Absolutely big NO

After much searching for a new home for our daughter we visited a Highmark display home and met saleslady Judy. Immediately we felt comfortable with the advice we received from her and the journey began. During the building process we dealt with Betty and Jess in the office and found them to be extremely easy to deal with. Nothing was a problem to them. All three ladies were a delight to deal with. During the build we had a lot of contact with supervisor Dylan who was exceptional. His knowledge, friendliness, honesty and professionalism made the building process so easy plus my daughter moved in earlier than expected. The only negative comment I can make is the final clean was disappointing but that's the only thing that distracted from an otherwise great experience. My daughter loves her Highmark home and I recommend anyone thinking of building to consider Highmark Homes.

A great building experience. Really impressed with the team and their ability to answer all of our queries openly and honestly. The site supervisor took great pride in his job and the process from the initial plans to final inspection was very smooth. We loved the ease of being able to see where things were at through our portal and the forecast of the next stages. We had some very minor issues after settlement but they were attended to quickly without fuss.

I purchased a Highmark Homes Display home nearly 4 weeks ago. I had waited since November for settlement and could not believe that I still had to wait to have the garage roller door installed after removal of the office sliding glass door.That was not the only issue:I was told my ‘new’ home was almost 3 years old and some maintenance would be coming due!!!Leaking hot water system that had not been used since newDamage to colourbond roofing and gutter as a result. Finally had the leak fixed but only after I had a plumber visit BUT not the roofing although I was told it would be attended to soon . 3weeks later I have contacted Consumer Affairs and now await a call from the installers!!!Sprinkler system flooding out to the road... sending maintenance around...still waiting for a visit. My son investigated and found a 4 inch gap between pipes not joining.Missing screen on En-suite window... told ‘ it was never there’ NOTwhat I took to be as stated ‘Inclusions’ on all opening windowsI am probably rating them to high but I do love the design and comforts of my home I just wish they would take responsibility for these obviously not MAINTENANCE issues and quickly

Our experience building with Highmark Homes was fantastic. In very challenging times they made the process as easy as possible. Communication through Anthony, Dylan and the team was excellent, keeping us well informed throughout the whole build. The choice of quality fittings & colors was an easy process and the team were very flexible with our choices.We are very happy with our house, we love it!!!The quality inside and out is excellent & we would highly recommend Highmark Homes to anyone intending to build.

Highmark homes were truely a saviour to me and my first home journey.My slab needed a lot of extra work due to my land needing major screw piles. Highmark were one of the only companies that would build on my land and they were amazing during the contract and admin phase.They really do care about the homes they build for people, they took so much care in my floor plan and recommended changes that could be made that I would never have thought of to benefit the natural lighting into my open living plan.Highmark offer excellent quality standard inclusions which meant I wasn’t paying a fortune in upgrades, I barely had to upgrade anything.The building phase has just began and I can’t wait to see the progress of what a genuine, high quality builder Highmark Homes produce.

1. After 2/3 weeks of handover the house, some cracks and gap created along the door frame and skirting board and they said it’s normal. It may be normal for them but as a customer how you will feel if you see those cracks within few weeks of handover.2. They took more than 9 months to complete from contract sign to handover.3. After the initial price, they again charged me about $13000 extra (P class soil -$7000, levelling -$3200– although my plot was not more than 300mm slope, Survey -$2600).4. After handover the house we noticed that the gas heating was not working. We contacted with them and someone had to come three times to fix the issue still I am not satisfied with the heating system as after turning off automatically; it’s turning ON after long time.5. There is an unusual noise (when turning ON the hot water) inside the hot water system. Someone came and said that its normal noise which is very annoying for us.6. They didn’t clean the house properly (sand, dust, paint). Even there was paint on the window glass and frame. Thoroughly we had to clean the house including glass, frame and so on.7. They didn’t provide any lights at our backyard wall. When we open our backdoor during evening, its too dark. They said that we had to pay extra for this.8. They have provided very cheap internal door (Honeycomb type door.9. They also provided very cheap flyscreen in windows and front and back door. They should provide aluminium fly screen at least all the external door.10. They provided only 8mm thick laminated timber in floor whereas you can see some of the builder provide 12mm thick laminated timber.11. They didn’t seal the kitchen sink properly, we have noticed that there is a gap between stone and sink and hence water is going through that gap. Their sink is also normal and visible sink. You should choose the builder who provide underneath kitchen sink.12. They also don’t provide branded appliances (Waven, dish wash, and even heating system). They have given us ARTUSI and BONAIRE brand.13. They don’t provide waterproof paint in ENS, toilet and shower area. Later the paint might be removed due to vapour from shower area.14. They didn’t keep stormwater provision around the house. They said that its not required. However, due to this, rainwater may enter underneath the slab during heavy rain.15. As per their email, they provided only 20 MPa strength concrete in our driveway. You should choose the builder who provide at least 25 MPa strength concrete in driveway.16. They used very cheap and low quality white board to make Pantry and other Cabinet.17. Their variation price is very high. For example, we have a cabinet system bin and they charged $650 from us. Whereas you can do this type of bin by other people with very less price.18. Their Toilet pan is bit smaller. If you are a big man, there might be problem when you will sit on the toilet pan.19. There is a leakage in one of my toilet flash and hence water is dipping on the toilet floor from toilet flash.20. If you go with then you will see that their security lock, handle’s quality. I have seen some of my friend’s house that their door handle, security locks are very beautiful and good quality.21. They also provide aluminium door frame (Front main door) rather than wooden door frame. If you are fan with wooded door frame, you shouldn’t choose this door frame.22. They had an offer that they will provide colorbond roof but they didn’t provide to me and said my one is custom house, so I am not eligible to get the colorbond roof.23. My one of the friend used other builder (Big builder) and they finished within 5 months even during the COVID lockdown period.Note: May be they will fix some of the issues when they will come (after 6 months from handover) but this is their overall works quality.
