I have been coming here for years so thought I'd finally give a review.Let's start with the coffee. Its fantastic, better then most of the coffee you find in Brisbane CBD. The house blend is such a high quality it doesn't matter which way you have it the results are always delicious. They cycle through various single origin blends that always have interesting flavours that are worth trying. I enjoy buying their 1kg bags of beans to take home as their quality for price is very good and beans fresh.The food here amazing, I have had everything off the old menu and most of the new one. Our favorites are the smashed avacoda, waffles and tropical feels acai bowl. The window full of goodies is always a win as well, often take home some cheesecake for dessert.Finally the customer service here is amazing. Even though it can get really busy everyone is always so friendly and warm. You can tell the owners have made a great environment to work in as the crew are always working together and having a good time doing so. In all my visits I have had nothing less then an excellent experience each time.I am always excited when I hear the words lets go to wheelhouse for breakfast"."

Great coffee! Very tasty food, although fairly limited menu. Nice place to stop for coffee, brunch. Attentive, friendly staff. Service was very quick. Tables nice and clean too!

I asked for a well toasted sandwich and was served this. When I brought it to the attention of the Owner, he looked at it and said that a well toasted one will come crispy! I suppose his definition includes bordering on burnt, rock hard and inedible as well.I was interstate and thought I would support a small local business versus a large chain. He is a disgrace and gives small businesses a bad name.He does not belong in food industry. Doesn't deserve a single star.

Had the Benny bagel and a Cappuccino; Eggs were fried and not poached (menu clearly states this also). So I'd say it's technically eggs fried on old bagel :).Hollandaise sauce was nice, my egg(singular) had basil on top - unsure if by mistake or creative design, wasn't tasty.Points deducted for so-so service, unclean, not poached eggs.Price ok.

This place was a great find! It’s got really nice decor and it’s so nice and chill. It was busy but the food didn’t take long at all, and was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

Wheelhouse Coffee is situated in a good location, coffee is great. I had the salad with grilled chicken. Portion was very generous, and there were heaps of avocado in the salad. Support local businesses! Will definitely come back for good coffees and food

The meals came out seriously fast! Every coffee is served with a delightful little chocolate freckle! As the drinks were being brought out she even asked if I wanted a glass of ice! The service was wonderful.We found the meals too big for our eyes & were both unable to finish them! Certainly making them a great meal for the cost! I barely got halfway through my steak sandwich when I was done, & they politely came over & offered to put it in a take away box for me! So lovely!This was the first time I had eaten a meal here for myself. I had shared a meal in a group - which got very noisy (but I think that was more the group than the venue), & been there for a few drinks & chat with a friend when they first opened up & were selling their wooden furniture. This place really is so welcoming!
