Hi.Going to a new place with no family or friends can be a great challenge but thanks to AHN pty ltd for giving me a new family #Stevens and Julie who helped me adjust. I'm so grateful to them. I would recommend other students to take AHN as their first option.

AHN is disgraceful and a scam. I was told I would be paid $244 + $40 transport per student for 4 nights but was only paid $180 +$40 after the students left. When I questioned AHN, they said they made a mistake and $180 is the correct amount. What a joke! At $45 per night, this can’t even cover my costs for 3 meals, snacks, electricity, water, wifi, my time and doing their laundry. I’ve been hosting students since 2018, never have I been paid so low. Will never host through AHN again. They are big time scammers!

The services is good. And they can find you a suitable host which suits your needs. I have my daughter with the homestay family for three years and we all be friends during the period. Strongly recommendation host service provider.

I'm upset that Stacy Parker pretended to be innocent and blamed me.After finishing my homestay, through an official survey, I submitted sad experience because of my house and owner.But Stacy Parker and the local manager only said nonsense that they couldn't see my description.First of all, I told my school office about them.

We have hosted for many years with AHN based on the Gold Coast. Sara and the team are incredibly professional and very responsive in addressing any questions. We have said goodbye to Rowan today who has been with us for over three years. He was part of the family and will be missed.

Be aware this is a waste of time. You will spend hours filling out paperwork, paying for Police checks and Blucards to hear nothing be very aware a complete waste of time.

Unfortunately this was not a very pleasant process at all.I chose the no-meal-option and then was only told a few weeks before I arrived that it will be difficult to match me because families don’t like giving students access to their kitchens (???). Then why is there a no-meal option in the first place? There is even a whole paragraph on the website advertising for the no-meal-option being suitable for older students like me. They also don’t refund the matching fees, so that was a waste of money for me. And on top of that getting the refund for the pre-paid rent took over 7 weeks (!!).There is better and cheaper home stay options on flatmates.

This is the most memorable experience in my life. I am an international student who have little exposure to Australian culture. When I first came here, AHN had arranged such comfortable accomodation for me to explore the city. I was afraid to move in a stranger's house but my host family is so welcoming and friendly. The house is lovely and the area is extremely safe, I am under 18 and my package is 2-meal, the price is surprisingly affordable and to be honest, what I am receiving worths way more than that. Besides, I could make many other international friends living at the same house, they are really nice, what a great chance for culture exchange. My friend is staying with other AHN's family as well and he is having very great volunteering experience with his host family.I can never be thankful enough for giving me this opportunity. I hope the team could make more and more beautiful memories in every student's new life chapter.
