Otaku Garage

Took my vehicle here about a month ago to get a 30,000km service. Less then 2 weeks later I had a massive oil leak, luckily it happened in my garage and not on the road otherwise I would’ve cooked my engine. Took my vehicle to a reputable mechanic and they had found the sump plug was not tightened properly, the coolant levels were not topped up either. Sure everyone makes mistakes but it’s a pretty simple thing to double check and tighten. So I’m presuming a lot did not get done right with the service. Confronted the staff about this who said they would refund me the cost of their service, for which I’m still waiting for and the reason why I’m posting this review. It’s a shame because I had planned to come here to do performance work done to the car. But If you value your car do not take the risk of taking it here to be serviced.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. I first met his father three years ago who at the time was a panel beater and discovered that his son, Sam is a mechanic. It's a considerable drive for me to his workshop, plus train and bus to get back home, but well worth it. At the moment, he is so busy that bookings are two months in advance. I don't mind.

Was so happy that Sam fixed the ABS brake light sensor on my Toyota Granvia that was stopping me getting a roadworthy. I had taken it to other places with no luck.I recommend most highly the professionalism of Otaku Garage.

The team at Otaku Garage recently fitted some wheels and a set of coilovers to my car. I am very happy with the quality work performed and outstanding customer service.I will definitely be back for my next upgrade 10/10

I had some issues with a clutch/gearbox install on my R33, so I called Otaku up and they squeezed me in the next week on super short notice.They kept me informed during the process of diagnosis and completed the job in a timely manner.The bill was a lot less than i was anticipating also so I feel like it was extremely good value for money.Just an awesome bunch of dudes. knowledgeable, friendly and they have some cool stuff in stock in the office. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely awesome. I would not trust anyone else with my car after my experience with these guys. They had my car in there about 4 weeks in a row, and still got it to me when I needed it after some part suitability issues, due to the car being an import. As well: Sam knows his work and is great to deal with.They are great guys and I would recommend Otaku Garage to anyone.

Hayden and the team here are fantastic. They're genuine and offer really good advice when it comes to the best thing for you and your car. Have had a bunch of work done of my R33 and it's running the best it has in 5 years. Thanks gents!
