I purchased Holden VE and the stereo was playing up so I changed it.The stereo had a lock out on it.I was told to give Holden dealership a call to get it unlocked.I rang South Morang dealership and told them exactly what occurred and what I needed done. They stated they will get it unlocked for $160 fee.I booked in appointment and attended to the my appointment.The Service Clark advised me that I might need a vin number of the car it came off from for the second hand stereo at the time of my me attending the appointment.They said they would give it ago and get back to me.I received a phone call couple hours later stating they were unsuccessful with the reprograming of the stereo and they were going to charge me $160 dollars for their time.I think they should know if they can reprogram stereos what you will need before attending to appointment.Also unsuccessful installations shouldn't be charged in my opinion.

Would not recommend their Servicing centre. Had my car serviced a few months ago and when I got the car back and driving it straight after brakes were almost unusable, eventually the warning for brake fluid came up. Yes they did oragnise a tow to come pick up my car from home, but no follow call or apology for what could have been dangerous. After numerous calls asking to speak to the manager, we gave up.

Terrible service 12 months ago.Was told that brake pads needed imminent replacement (within 4 weeks) at a cost of $500.00. I had a friend of my partner's check the pads and they told me that Holden had completely lied and that the brake pads had AT LEAST 10,000 km remaining.I also recently had my car reserviced at another venue and they advised that my sump plug had been stripped during its last service and required replacement.

When I purchased the Colorado I got looked after, that was back in 2020. the vehicle is currently still under Manufacturers warranty on the first occasion they replaced exhaust brackets & DPF, but has made no difference. Another road test has been established by one person who acknowledged the vibration so he decided to get another opinion so we went out again but this other person could not feel any thing. So he asked me to drive and replicate the vibration which I did and he made no comment so I drove back and waited to see what they were going to do. The SERVICE MANAGER informed me that It was normal for the Colorado and that they all do it, he said just read the reviews (A load of Rubbish) and basically told me to leave.So hear is my review, and another one coming re Oil stainsVery Poor service, So Buyer beware before you buy

Purchased a car from Holden used cars. Everyone I spoke with there was really professional and friendly without the pressure and frustrations I've experienced when buying cars in the past. Spoke with I think his name was Jo when viewed the car first and he was really patient and great to deal with. When I returned I spoke with Igor initially and then Hamish to purchase the car. Throughout the process everyone was friendly and there was no hint of the rudeness, hostility and pressure I've experienced at other dealerships. I felt like it was a positive experience with open honest and respectful communication throughout.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Toke it there for a service, ask to change the brakes, as they were gone and the job wasn't done, no reason or explanation given, and after a month they told me they weren't in stock, ( I have an holden ,and they are a holden dealer) seriously..they couldn't even pick up a broken suspension. I've been servicing the car there for 4 years, and that's what you get for being a usual customer. Save your money, go somewhere else.

I bought spark plugs from the south morang got faulty Imy car starts giving issue after that, when I replaced different company after that my car was fine. When I speak to someone at sotre they told me I can't get refund staight Way , there's long procedure , they will be assess it first then can decide they will refund me or not . Ts looks like they don't care about customer service and warranty. They do what they like.I paid two times labour yo fix this issue.

I brought my car in due to my AC not working and having an odd issue with it. This was on Monday around 8:45am. I received a call around mid day and they explained that I had a hole in my condenser, costing about $1300 and the car will be ready around mid to end of the week.On Wednesday I called and asked when the car would be ready as I had appointments on thurs/fri. I was informed that the car was not ready but would defiantly be ready on Friday.On Friday I called at 2pm on my lunch break and was placed on hold for my entire lunch break. My partner then called and was advised that they would call back in 30 mins. About 90mins later my partner called to confirm we can pick up the car and they said it wouldn’t be ready until Monday. She explained we needed the car for Monday morning (8:30am) as our dog had a surgry booked. The service rep said the car Would be ready at midday and hung up.On Monday I called at 3pm after receiving no calls or information. He advised me that they had found a second issue that the compressor was shot and it would be another $1300. I explained that I would not have proceeded knowing it would’ve been $2600 and he said the issue was not know until the first installation of the condenser. I said I would not proceed and I would just collect the car today.When I went to collect the car I asked what caused the delay was. He said that the parts ordered were damaged and he sent them back. I explained I don’t mind that but I should’ve been contacted about the delay and I shouldn’t have had to call on Friday. He said that it was as they didn’t carry the parts so had to order.I then paid and was given my keys. When I got to my car I found it filthy from dust.Honestly the service was terrible. I understand delays happen and other issue can arise but to not be contacted and be treated badly about needing my vehicle back is not okay.When going to a premium service centre such as Holden, I expect at least a bare minimum of customer service.

I get my Colorado serviced here and they have always been great. My daughter bought a Barina recently from a country dealer and the airbag had not been replaced, as was reported. South Morang got to work and within two days of telling them our story, had an airbag in and replaced it for us. So, from us Thank You.

Please don't take your car there. The staff attitude is really bad. The customer service is disgraceful. They don't even have the decency to look at you when they are talking to you, to busy taking things out of photocopier and sorting paper out. Can't even give you a date when your car is going to be looked at.
