Great local business. Good bread, great pies (potato top is a fav) and they serve mushy peas for your pie. Highly recommend for a pastry treat.

I believe it lacks a variety of options you can find in other bakeries.But the products they sell are definitely delicious, both salty and sweet.Wish they had a larger variety, tho.

This might be the greatest bakery in the Redlands, if not Queensland! Always have had great service from friendly staff and prices that are around average for what I consider to be the standard for baked goods. The food and coffee always goes above and beyond my expectations. This bakery will always have my business!

Maridale Cottage Bakery
As a professional Truck Driver delivering to the greater Brisbane area, this would have to be one of the best bakeries I have eaten at. The staff members that serve you have been excellent every time. The Ned Kelly Pies, Sausage Rolls & Custard Tarts are the best. Definitely recommend to anyone in the Capalaba area. You will not be disappointed.

I picked up a preordered birthday cake from here this morning and to say the cake was perfect would be an understatement fresh cream icing with coconut flakes etc it even changed the minds of the usual non cake eaters the cake was so light and fluffyThank you for providing the perfect cake after the perfect birthday lunch and the staff I encountered were gorgeous a incredibly helpful ❤️❤️

Yummy doughnuts and awesome you get to choose, real or mock cream. Bread was also great. Especially good with our chip butties and then for toasted sandwiches. Next time, I want to try a pie. The Eclair is worth buying. Great find in Capalaba. Lots of quality shops in this area.

Well one of the rudest staff members that I have ever encountered. She had an attitude from obviously having an issue with another customer. Or just didn’t want to be there. Which is a shame really. Cause the food that I had purchased was nice. But her attitude would have turned fresh cream sour.

I purchased the pie and coke special for $7.50 and also purchased a sausage roll. I had not added up the prices in my head but when told the total, I queried whether the special pricing had been included. Well if I thought the young staff member had attitude before - I really copped it after asking that question. Extremely rude is an understatement. She came from out the back like she didn’t want to be there, basically grunted at us and the attitude went down hill even further from there. I eventually asked her name, she refused and asked what I wanted it for - I said to lodge a complaint. Vote with your feet people and just don’t go there. I certainly won’t be and I will be telling everyone I know about my charming experience. Can’t say I have ever had such a bad customer experience ever !!
