The Southernmost vineyard in Australia needed to be on our road trip itinerary in Tasmania. We had our dog with us and there was no outside seating, so my wife and I could not enjoy the wine tasking together. The tasting was OK, the wine as well, although a bit overpriced because of the location. Unfortunately, I discovered that the staff packed the wrong red when we arrived back in Sydney.

Such an easygoing vibe, surrounded by good food and beautiful wines. I can’t forget about the ciders, OMG! Please, give a go.The staff is super friendly and attentive.

As others have said, perfect place to stop for lunch before or after other activities. Cosy, welcoming atmosphere and such a lovely place. The staff are so warm, friendly and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better waitress. The bottle of Sauvignon Blanc we had was absolutely top notch. And the food was a-ma-zing. Delicious, rich flavours. Melt in your mouth braised lamb. Juicy, perfectly cooked chicken, to name but a few. This food would compete with the most trendy city fare with one hand tied behind its back. We had a wonderful time, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll be sure to stop by again.

The quality and the standard of the food was really great. The wine tasting was really good, the staff had a great knowledge about the food and the wine. The quantity of the food is perfect for one person. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also pretty great. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Again Bruny Island keep nicely surprising you; this beautiful place denominated Australia’s most southern vineyard has a delightful fruity vibrant Pinot Noir totally worth trying. We had the pleassure if having their deliciously slow-cooked pork rillete, perfectly cooked in its own fat, and a few herbs and seasoned delicately. They are, quite simply, delicious. The rillettes came with a generous side of toasted baguette along with freshly roasted nuts and cherry jelly relish; an absolute pleasure to your palate.Friendly beautiful service with a warm smile made this visit unforgettable.

The food and wine was great, but was disappointed with the lack of Vegan options. The staff were friendly but inattentive, and one of the older female staff was unfriendly and seemed like she just didn’t want to be there. For the money you pay for your food, the service needs to be better. I’m a hospo worker and understand it’s peak season but I left feeling disappointed.

Myself and three guests dined there with a booking for lunch at 12.30 , it was a couple days after Xmas day and when we arrived it was packed to the raftersInstantly I was thinking it was going to be a long wait for meals, but was greeted by very friendly helpful staffThe atmosphere had a warm relaxed feel with a touch of simplicity about itThe food was a bit on the higher side and we wanted to order the Oysters from the special board but was already sold out by 12.30they sounded great. Might be one for next visitWe ordered a taste plate at $55 for two people and was advised that it would be enough for four, We also swapped the wallaby for pulled pork, and even though the food was divine we were charged an extra $10 for one very small piece of porkI would definitely order this again but only for two and not swap anythingWe also chose from the specials board the blue eye and the prawns, WOW is all I can say the food was spot on, I chose the blue eye and it was very soft and tasted fresh .The prawns were packed with flavour and didn't appear to be previously frozen, if they had been I couldn't tell.If you asked was there any down side and this is nit picking as they were so busy I would say a bit of cracked pepper may be nice for someOur waitress Stella was amazing as was all the staff we encountered, wait times were very reasonable for the amount of people there and Stella did not forget a thingBruny Island Premium wines was more than a meal, it was a dining experience, they also provide wine tastings but it was too busy that day to try, but the bottles we ordered was really niceProbably catering more for the adult market , I assume being a winerySo over all we had an amazing dining experience, the food, wine and the service was all the best of the best, and worth every centI would highly recommend that if you are looking for a dining experience rather than just a meal put this on your to do list ,we will be returning

Great spot for lunch, decent vego options. I’d recommend the marinated mushrooms and the vegetarian tacos. Did a wine tasting and enjoyed the Unwooded Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir. Only two reds but a variety of whites. A bit pricey but the food was great and for the remoteness of its location it’s worth a visit.

Perfect place for lunch stop after visiting Lighthouse at south end of the island. Food was delicious with Tasmanian generous portions and great service. Small area for tasting so there was a wait time. We didn't end up doing tasting after lunch because still a few stops (chocolate factory, cheese company, get shucked, house of whisky) to do before closing time
