WridgWays - The Removalist, Canberra

A nightmare from the beginning, damaged Items & lost several items.Impossible to receive a reply as they just don’t care.Over two months now & I still haven’t received my repaired furniture which was so badly damaged. Every excuse under the sun.

The uplift from Canberra went very well. The removalist team were very careful with all my items and with the house. Just what I required!!! Very much appreciated!!!

Did not make contact when my vehicle and goods reached location, but otherwise made everything easy

We moved interstate and i have to say Wridgways were shockingly inept. I cant fathom how they can continue to function with such poor practice.While the office staff were excellent, it didn't help that our contact actively pursued management to call us because of the multitude of issues, with zero contact, or apparent care, from the management . We were shocked by the dreadful packing into boxes with appalling amount of breakage and sub par packing into the shipping containers. They had to return to pack whole drawers of kitchen items that were completely missed by the packing team who seemed angry about having to come back and do the job we paid them to do.Our goods were meant to be split with standard essential household items to arrive first, but the containers were randomly packed so we had additional expense for household items we had to buy as they couldn't tell us when the second container would arrive. Go literally anywhere but to Wridgways Canberra, or ask if they can give you a discount if you pack your own by using a giant slingshot to randomly fling your items into a container, and a wrecking ball to get it all in.I've left it since November 2020 to write this review to ensure it wasn't written in anger … but even now I'm boiling over their lack of care.Zero stars. Would not recommend.

Could not be happier with WridgWays! From start to finish, everyone I dealt with at both ends of the move, has been professional, courteous and just got the job done. Was updated at every step of the move - amazing service! Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

The guys at either end were friendly but half the stuff arrived smashed. I don't know how they dented a steel tool box either, I'm actually impressed.

Wridgways are the best removal company. I have now used them twice.I can say this because I tried another company for my last move and it was total fail. This company, Transcorp, didn't turn up on the planned move day, and when they did come a day late they said they had no room left on the truck. Unbelievable!I had spoken to Wridgways the day the Transcorp truck didn't turn up in case I needed to action a plan B, and basically Wridgways came to the rescue in a very positive way with about 4 hours notice from myself, providing a very professional crew who did the packing, loading and interstate move for me without a glitch. I will only use Wridgeways for my next move.

I had a great experience, the guys dropping off my stuff were very helpful. They even have me some rugs to cover my stuff in the rain.

Great guys, professional, clean and thorough removals. And the main office support is fantastic.

I'm a subcontractor to this company an it's taking me nearly 6months 2 get paid.
