Laundry

Visited this laundry as staying at the Motel, found it a bit dingy, cobwebs all over the ceiling, floor grubby. Most annoying was no readily sighted signage (to make it easy) stating how much for the machines etc (later discovered 2 machines had stickers at the coin slots) so I’ll provide the following:Washing Machines 3 x $1 coins ONLY 27min average wash timeDryers $1 per 6 minutesI spent $5 (30 mins) to get a medium size load of denim, perm press dryPowder $1 for 100gm for 2 x loadsDrinks are $1.50eaIf visiting at night the light switches are to the left of the entrance next to the fuse box, left of the drink machine.It’s next door to a nice cafe so that’ll help kill the waiting time. With some paint and a little love this would be a nicer space to visit.It has a good size folding table. A couch I was hesitant to sit on and a little table and chairs. The people using it with me were friendly and warm much like many in the town.

Very dirty. Coin boxes been emptied but no cleaning done obviously. Detergent machine and drink machine simply not working at all. Put coins in for water and machine ate them. Can’t get over the filth. We owned a laundromat in our younger days and it was always clean and all in working order. Very disappointed.
