Sunflower Cottage

Recently had a four night stay at this property. It is extremely well equipped and being in the middle of winter extremely well fitted out for heating, five wall mounted column heaters, air conditioning and a wood fire place ( bring your own wood ). The bathroom and toilets both had hand sanitizes and the shower was equipped with body wash and shampoo . The sheets, blankets and quilts were clean and in good condition and the laundry is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. All you need for a pleasant stay

Small house but comfortable beds with a cosy living room. The balcony is a plus.

Clean, nice and cozy!

The cottage is very neat and spacious. Heating (fireplace, wall heaters and electric blankets) was great, although a heater is definitely required in the third bedroom especially in the freezing weather we had during our stay. It would have been nice tough to have been provided with some wood for the fireplace on the first night especially when visitors are arriving late/at night.Stocking of the kitchen is a real problem, as there is not enough cooking equipment to cook a proper meal for 6 people with only one pot. Also not sure how to make breakfast for 6 people with only one pan! Also taking into account barbecue facilities are not provided. Half of the mugs provided are totally impractical and can’t be used while equipment such as a grater, any form of jugs, casseroles, etc. were not available at all. Several previous visitors also raised the kitchen equipment as a problem...Some other issues included spare bin liners were not provided for the kitchen bin to replace full bags and not enough toilet paper was provided to last for the duration of our stay.We could go back if the kitchen equipment issues are addressed.
