The Brisbane Museum is a great place to visit and check on new exhibitions, some of them are really interesting and different from an average exhibition you could find on another museum. The thing i liked the most is that you and your kids can interact with them! AND ITS FREE!!

Nice place to visit. They are in their early stage to develop and express “Brissie-ism” so currently displaying some history and artworks of historical significances. Speaking with the staff who are super helpful and friendly, I believe there are many new things to come live at this museum. At the moment, it doesn’t take much time to see all the artworks so I recommend to visit if you will combine this with the Clock Tower Tour and/or the Hall Tour. It’s good to see some history and work in progress. I really look forward to seeing more at this Museum as well as things around the city.

Located inside the Brisbane City Hall. Didn't come here by intention. Just wandering around and found out there is a museum inside the city hall and decided to check it out.The entrance is free, no ticket is required to visit. But you need to lock your bag in the locker.Surprisingly the museum seems fun. A lot of things to discover. If you spend more time on it there is a lot of fun stuff. Too bad I was in a hurry so just a quick tour. The staff are all very friendly and nice. Don't feel shy to ask for help.Overall it is a great place to discover.

Delightful experience for self & wife, daughter, granddaughter. Excellently curated display for adult / History buff and well-considered material to engage the kid. The office" was an all-round favourite - see pix posted."

This place I truly love. It is a reliable source of interest, learning, and cultural uptempo inspiration. There's clearly a great team who work on making the installations facinating. It's a trustworthy tourist destination. The added bonuses can be a cup of tea at Shingle Inn, a peek at the main hall with colourful dome at City Hall, and a guided tour of the clock tower.

This place was a treat, 1st time going in and was not disappointed, got to see alot of weird and unusual but fascinating arts and great history of this place. Heads up tho, you gotta book to go to the top where the clock is. This place is a spot but to be missed.

Great museum inside city hall. Book a tour up the clock tower for the full experience (free but limited to currently 4 people) including the old lift. No need to buy tickets for the museum itself but do book ahead for the clock tower if you want to go up. Please note clock tower tours are not wheelchair accessible as there are narrow stairs at the top

A must visit museum in Brisbane. The most surprising things are the clay/pottery displays and paintings. The ppl are very welcoming. You have to store you backpacks or purse before entering. Also, they elevator to the clocktower is right next to the museum.

What a hidden gem in Brisbane for tourists and locals. Highly recommend a visit for all types. Great for adults and kids. Recommend doing the clock tower tour to go up and get a great view of Brisbane. Definitely pre-book the Free tickets in advance the day before. The art exhibits were great too.
