Spark Tennis
Spark Tennis has been a great learning environment for my girls. They’ve been doing tennis for 3 years now and they love going every week. Since Alicia and Ramona started lessons, they’ve also joined a competition team that they participate in every Saturday. It’s been great for the girls on court skill development as well as their overall social and emotional development.Spark Tennis is definitely the go to place in the Macedon Ranges.

Mario has a true passion and love for the game of tennis which is reflected in his approach to coaching. His enthusiasm and ability to motivate others allows him to get the best out of his students and his knowledge and understanding is second to none. Mario came off the circuit and made the Macedon Ranges (South Gisborne TC) his home some years ago. Besides his obvious technical skills, it is his person focused mantra that keeps players (young and old) coming back. Beyond just tennis, he is interested in broader growth; self-confidence, balance, fitness ... As an older player, I enjoyed Mario's cardio sessions, and the occasional private 'tuning' lesson.

My little girl is always eager for Thursday's to roll around because that means Fun at Spark Tennis. The coaches are friendly yet professional, the facilities are great & I personally enjoy the location.

Mario and his team are amazing with teaching new tennis skills and engaging the group of kids in sessions. The team make tennis lessons fun and exciting each week, making it super enjoyable for our boys. Mario is approachable and warm and willing to give feedback when needed. We will continue these lessons and hope our boys develop a love and passion for the sport.

We tried multiple academies and coaches before finding Mario and we’re so glad we kept searching! Mario has coached our son for over 3 years now, mostly private coaching for a junior with big aspirations. Technically & tactically sound, Mario is helping our son shape his game-plans & his technique. But more than that,Mario brings joy to the game and keeps the kids grounded - with plenty of life lessons along the way. He teaches positive mindset, creativity, conceptual decision making, self-love/care, patience and perseverance. So if you’re looking for a role model as well as a coach - Mario’s your guy.

Mario is an unbelievable coach and he has a real passion for helping people of all ages succeed. My 15 year old son who is autistic has been training with Mario for almost 10 months now and I have seen amazing progress with not only his tennis skills but also his communication not only at home but he has improved at school also.
