My partner did electrical work for this company 6 months ago and was never paid despite multiple calls, emails and texts chasing ‘James’ up. Originally he was unhappy with the quote provided, so it was revised to fit his request, but 6 months later it has still not been paid. Clients employing JEPS should be aware that they put a >25% markup on the tradesman’s work for being the middle man, and as in this case, then take home 100% of the payment made from the client, not paying the tradesman anything. Would recommend clients employ tradesman directly, and tradies to avoid this company at all costs.
