Amazing views, especially watching the sunset. I had the arancini balls and the chicken schnitzel, meal was good. They had 4 drinks on tap, 2 ginger beers, bentspoke crankshaft and a mid strength.

Courtney was so amazing! Very friendly and nice. I accidentally spilt a drink and she helped me right away. Always checked up on my group and gave us the best experience! Lovely service! Will definitely come again!

The location is amazing, such a beautiful space you feel like you’re dining in a Glasshouse in the trees. The views are amazing.Pros- your bar staff, particularly the cocktail guru with the moustache, dark brown hair is a legend, great with recommendations, good banter, and so friendly without being overbearing. Top bloke. Hang onto him.- chicken Tacos are amazing as is the ceviche-proximity to Braddon, gear for pre-shinanigansCons- oysters - don’t waste your money, it’s like drinking A bottle of soy sauce and lime concentrate- parking- reception staff at the Rex hotel are not helpful- stairs to the toilets are a hazzard- limited menu with no table service

Brilliant experience at Howling Moon High Tea over yummy Savoury, Sweets, Mocktails & Tea. Situated on the rooftop of Hotel Rex, the floor to ceiling windows on rooftop give a picturesque view. Staff is very caring, polite and professional. 5 stars, absolutely recommended!!!

I read other reviews that stated the food here wasn't great and nearly didn't come. I'm very glad I decided to try and see for myself. The food was perfect! Asked for a steak cooked medium and got exactly what I asked for. I normally can't eat everything on my plate but I did here. The ambience was lovely, great views, and not noisy at all. Only reason I rated this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is because the staff weren't very friendly. Not that they were rude at all, but just didn't seem to really care to be there was the impression i got. I would come back again though regardless.

Our 1st visit - to The Howling Moon - and to Canberra. We enjoyed this little bar above the hotel. The service staff who is also the bartender I think, is very friendly and helpful. My son who isn't a fan of pizza loves the pizza he had there. The cocktail 'Above The Avenues' was perfectly done.

Beautifully decorated two storey bar. Bottom level has a darker loungey vibe whereas the upper level has a brighter, greener vibe. We were sat on the upper level by the window as requested in our booking and were able to watch the sun go down behind Telstra tower. The views from our table were gorgeous and the overall vibe was summery and fun. There isn't too much choice when it comes to food, but the drinks menu is adequate (and the bar staff can make off the menu drinks upon request). The wait and bar staff were extremely friendly. Very happy with our night at the howling moon.
