Mangrove Creek Dam Picnic Area
Lovely, peaceful spot with stunning views.Brand new BBQ area that's well maintained.They have portable toilets there currently as the 2019/2020 bushfires took out the toilet blocks there. It looks like they are in the process of building a new one though.

Awesome spot. Great view. Nice ride to get there Well maintained. Has porta loo's and gas BBQ although they were out of service when I was there.

Fantastic spot to visit with a panoramic view of the dam and dam wall space for a few families to have a picnic free BBQ area, big toilet block and some nice wildlife to observe while taking a rest .

Great fenced viewing area with a few spots for photos allowing patrons to spread out a little. Temporary toilets there 2021 including accessible. Some picnic table areas, little parking.

Ive loved this Lookout since my husband first brought me here over 15 years ago. Absolutely beautiful views. Today we saw a lace monitor sunning itself right near one of the observation decks. There are several barbecues and seats to sit at. Usually there is a public toilet block but they're renovating it so porta loos are there instead. Its a great place to come for a lazy picnic. Highly recommend

Beautiful beautiful can u say absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! LOST OF free wild life moving around. Safe, has barriers to protect you from slipping and falling over. Road closes at 5pm and opens 9am. Site is tranquil. 3rd largest catchment in New South Wales... lots of fun tree foliage and melalecucia also. Ideal spot for picnics and family outings..eveb has a barbeque spot for use. Surrounded by pristine lush Australian bush. Roads are well maintained.

I have never been to this lookout, but my partner had and he took me there Easter Saturday. It was a beautiful day and the silence and the beauty of the scenery was amazing.There are bbqs, toilets and tables and interesting information about the dam.

I've lived on the central coast for over 20 years yet I have never visited the dam. It is lovely. Private area to have a picnic, with lots of birds and animals. Stunning views

Mangrove Creek Dam Picnic Area
Great location to spend an afternoon enjoying the view and a picnic or BBQ. There are free gas BBQs (4 in all), several benches with and without shade and toilets. Decent amount of parking and the drive is very nice. Did I mention the view!You can't walk around much due to the area being restricted to protect the water catchment.

Mangrove Creek Dam Picnic Area
Really glad this has opened up again to the public after the catastrophic bushfires last summer. It's a lovely drive all the way and the picnic and BBQ area is beautifully laid out (free gas BBQ's). There is a wide and well appointed viewing platform to the right of the picnic area. Unfortunately they lost their toilet block in the fires and at the moment there are portables available.
