I had a car part put into my car at Wilkinson automotive, they claimed that they could only get a a brand new part, as there was nothing else available, so I paid quite a bit to have the new part installed...only to have it break a few months later. They wanted to charge me again after telling me it was a used part and not covered by warranty. After questing why I had originally paid for a new part, I got the run around and was told he was unaware that it was second hand at the time.After taking it to another mechanic, I was informed that the last mechanic that had worked on my car had used the wrong fitting part and that is the reason that it broke once again.Very dissapointed in the service or lack of. Being told that I am purchasing a brand new part and sticking in a part that doesn't even belong, only to try and charge me for a second time...disgusting. Not very Australian.

Repair whole engine on a Mitsubishi.My very unwell husband paid alot of cash money for work which took 8 weeks.My husband sadly passed and that car was for his son and the engine blow up 4 mnths later. Really upset and disapointed that they took advantage of a terminal ill man

Had a problem with our Kia, drivers side door wouldn't unlock, couldn't source a used part but they found a new one at reasonable cost in Sydney which was installed and on the road by lunch the next day. Labour cost was very reasonable. Would use again.

Droped car in for service. He damaged the rear bumper bar didnt complete the service. He backed the car up against the wall outside the shop then called me to pick the car up. Once discovered before i drove off he denied it, then played the blame game. I'm fired up ready to smack him in the mouth ! he owns up to it i will get my insurance to sort it out. The mechanic tried to fix the dent himself dodgee af ! My insurance company sorted it. Dont be fooled with a brochure in the letter box. His shop is in a prime location this is a reason why he is reaching for work
