Acacia Snowy Motel

The rooms are tiny, but do the job if you are just staying here to ski up at Perisher. It’s puts you very very close to the ski resort and is a solid choice for cheaper accommodation. however the rooms themselves aren’t very good, you shouldn’t come to this motel expecting 5 star rooms. The first floor provides food, a choice of either ramen or pizza, and also provides a drying room for items of clothing that have been soaked on the mountain.

I had the misfortune of booking at this motel and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The queen bedroom we booked for $400 was not cleaned with bedsheets on the floor and instead tried to dump us in a dingy room with multiple bunk beds. When we asked for a refund they said we can either stay here or go somewhere else in the middle of the night and will not give a refund. Especially the manager Leanne is a horrible lady and a nasty piece of work. Zero customer service and would recommend everyone to avoid this motel like the plague.

There were 8 bunk beds to choose from but the floor was most comfy and practical . This place is more backpackers than motel.

NEVER AGAIN. Fell sick a week before my scheduled stay. Hotel management refused all attempts to negotiate a change of date. They basically pocketed my $760 that I paid for the two nights. Disgusting thieves should be reported to consumer watchdog.

Good location, quite environment and nice staff. The clothes were clean but the boiler for tea was dirty. The water was not so clean as well. And the thing that bothered us, it wasn’t prepared yet when we arrived there. They kept us waiting for about fifteen or twenty minutes in the hall to get the room ready to use.

Didn't come in with high expectations for a boys weekend away in a room with bunk beds. Room itself wasn't terrible apart from the lamp with a blue junkie light bulb and render job that blind Freddie could have done a better job of. Issue is with the extremely rude receptionist. It was as though she was trying to start arguments with every interaction. Seemed like she took joy in the fact that our possessions were being stolen from the communal drying room overnight. Wouldn't recommend staying here. Won't be back.

Ok, I hate being negative but... this joint really needs some work... the renovations done in room 41 bathroom where so bad and unfinished, the curtains done close, street lights shine in. $458/1 night was steep for 2 of us but wouldn't be too bad this time of year if we filled the 6 bunk beds.. the photos on line certainly don't align with the photos I took. Based on the room appearance I didn't dare eat the food downstairs. The hangout area directly outside our room meant we could hear every word of the loupe group hanging out till late, which normally I'd be fine with but the fact that the entry door was a $30crap door from bunnings was just too far below standard. Finally, I only dare to winge at all because when we arrived I found that manager to be slightly passive aggressive. I'd book again if everything is fully booked.

Very affordable. Close to town centre. No lake view. Free breakfast (bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast, cereal). Large space, but aged furnishings. Good for large groups and families on a budget. The games area was quite nice to sit and relax after a day on the slopes. There's a bar and pizza place on the ground floor, which is pretty convenient after a long day and you don't want to trek for a good meal.

The rooms are large and comfortable, there is good food and a games room to entertain the kids. But most of all, the people here are fantastic. They were so friendly, kind and helpful. We got stuck in Jindy for a couple of days with 4 kids and a broken down car, and they really looked after us all.

Absolutely loved it. 2 night stay in September 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was warm and delicious. Staff super friendly. Room was large and beds were heaps comfortable. Bathroom is quite new and very clean. Plenty of parking on site. Handy drying room for all of our wet snow gear. Nice games room upstairs and some lounges for relaxing on. See you again for sure!!!
