Nightcap at Commercial Hotel

Such an amazing hotel! Doesn’t look great from the outside but the inside of this place will blow you away! service was superb, the food was amazing and the shower was too die for! Would have given 5/5 stars but our aircon was faulty only got a few fans no other compensation (our room was at least 30 degrees overnight) but otherwise A++++

Loved our stay. Room was delightful. Beds were comfortable. Nice and quiet. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly. Very thoughtful with kids activities to keep the little ones entertained while eating. Great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again. Happy to see the Eels got up for you Jenna!

The room I stayed in was pretty damn good. The bed I slept on was really good. The pillows were a little hard but they started to soften up the more use they got. The bathroom was fully functional along with the air-conditioning, kettle, fridge, lights, and practically everything else in this room was amazing! The only downside was the wifi was terrible. I did some digging and realised the guest wifi was the best one but I had no access to it. Had to use mobile data but hey, motel and hotel wifi is never the best. It's sort of a key element when it comes to motels and hotels, basically a traditional thing. Overall, this place is really good for the price. Would come again.

I stayed in the last week of January for 2 nights , beds super comfy and room clean , showers are like cracking a safe to get the right temperature but overall a great stay.The staff in the public bar are great , food service was quick and as expected for bar food .

We were so happy with our stay here! Thank you! We were nervous about staying at a pub motel, but needed somewhere close to the Australian Outback Spectacular so chose here. So happy we did! Very comfortable and well appointed room, and friendly staff. Best night sleep in a long time! We will be back. FYI uber ride to Aus Outback Spectacular was $40 there, $20 back for anyone going to theme parks from this motel.

I was genuinely impressed with everything… better than I expected, lovely, quiet and well decorated rooms, comfortable bed, close to Carrara stadium. Staff were lovely. I’ll be back next year without a doubt. Exceptional value!!

From the moment we arrived the staff were so pleasant from the lovely lady checking us in to the cleaning staff on the way out. We were missing a door handle on the bathroom door but it didn’t impact our stay too much. Bed super comfy, complimentary water bottles, lovely big bathroom and great value for money.

The room was stinking the moment we entered. When we requested for room freshener, we were told they don’t have one. Instead they sprayed body spray in our room. My wife fell sick because of the smell and we couldn’t even enjoy our dinner nor could we sleep well. On the second last day no room service was provided despite requesting for it (when we returned to our room after a long day). A middle aged female staff showed attitude by saying “ should i come and make your bed”. She was not even happy to provide us with welcome drinks, that showed from her body language. When i requested for dishes, they provided us with dirty plates. Lights were super dim in the room.

Amazing! Don't let the outside appearance fool you, my room was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff super friendly. Pleasantly surprised! Delicious meal in the bistro too
