David Wright House Removers

Had a fantastic experience with David and his team.When every other company said they couldn’t take the house due to the busy 2 lane road we live on David took one look and said it’s an easy job and he’ll take the house.We had weekly contact from the office staff informing us how our permit were coming along and once the boys started on site it was incredible to water.Mike on the excavator was a great bloke and a true professional.I highly recommend this team to remove or relocate your house.

We’ve just had a removal home moved onto our block with David Wright. A fantastic and positive experience all round. From the girls in the office answering my many calls, no question was silly or went unanswered, they kept us informed and kept on top of applications, permits etc, the crew that placed our house on our block, joining the 2 halves beautifully and tidying up the house and the yard area ready for handover, such a well oiled crew working so well together, working non stop, David came on the first day as well to help out and see that things went smoothly.This is the second time we’ve used David Wright and would highly recommend them to anyone.Thank you so much David, Sally and your wonderful Team

I have made enquiry after enquiry, phone call after phone call and I have never been allowed to see a house despite wanting to purchase. I can't figure this business out. I think they may be offering a bait and switch scheme or something! I'm completely incredulous that they would not want a customer who was ready to purchase.. but here we are! Very disappointing watching houses go under contract that I've enquired on the minute I've received the new listing alert and just been ignored. Based on this I could never imagine progressing with such a hopeless organisation.

I’ve just been driving on the narangba road and a driver in one of your work utes has tailgated me on wet roads. When he eventually passed me he gave me the finger out the window. Don’t know why!!!! If this is how your people behave driving the streets I suggest you don’t drive a work vehicle with the company name written all over it……

When both myself & my wife decided to buy a preloved house it was scary. Not knowing who, what and when can lead to second guessing, I remember vividly the first time we walked into their office we felt welcomed. No pressure but an offer of bottled cold water ! Sally & Jade were fantastic in their ability to answer all questions we had and some we hadn't thought of.From that first time up to, including and after our house was delivered it has been an amazing journey with them. In ways it left my wife and I speechless !! My wife was so proud she posted it to all her families and friends.....To David, Sally, Jade and team a big genuine thank you for all your care, helpfulness, guidance, knowledge and just great people to deal with !!PSWe put a new roof & gutters on after the photo

I have talked have master builders they cannot get in contact with David wrightbelieve to be scammingThe qbcc is investigating david wright so just be carefuli tried everything to get my house I purchased in November last year. The staff state cannot talk to David wright or directors. They make mistakes every time they lodge paperwork with councils. And councils reject their application. They refused to say where the house was or if it still exists. I paid a solicitor but they refused to give details about my house and refused to return the solicitors calls and refused to give detailsLooking like going to bankruptcy again.Do not buy anything from David wright house removers. It's a nightmare

i agreed to buy a house in 11/22. signed papers paid money .ok were a few things i was worried about like paying to transfer from the site to their yard then back to my property which it says on papers but i was told i do not have to pay this even though it on the paperwork. and non refundable deposit no matter if they cant do the job etc. but i trusted them after david wright seems ok. i think outside staff are ok but office is a worry. i have had numerous emails about what is happening and asking if they want any more info or money etc. i have sent numerus emails that i am being ignored etc. i did use their architect that did plans wrong like eg changing position of the existing shed and new house position and putting wrong things around house. after about 2 months was fixed.i asked if all ok and if council has been lodged. after 9 days i again heard nothing ( just usual) i then sent another email and i got a really nasty call treating like a fool. ( i did say i hadnt done this before on a number of occasions so needed advice and they said the errors by staff and architect were approved by me so its my fault they did wrong plans and i was not sure it mattered if they did it wrong but found out it cant be changed to council unless a new application was made.) ok they didnt lodge the paperwork to council till that morning then they were told by council rejected. ok no payment details. they knew council do this if no payment. i had to ring council a few times over a couple of days and fix their errors as david wright staff said they will not ring council to fix the errors then i was told david wright had not lodged an application to put a removable home on the property. long story but they had issed in march 2023. 4 months after i bought house. the form was rejected as is usual if they dont supply payment details. ok they should have told me i could have fixed it a month earlier now we are 5 months after buying house. i paid the council who agreed to take payment and renew the lodgement that david wright let lapse. i keep asking if anything is needed but dont get much . i was told that office was closed for a week as all staff were sick so why did not owner sit there? then was only 2 people in office the next week. i have asked the architect and staff in the office to talk to david wright but told i cant and they wont get him to ring etc. and they say they dont know his contact details. i just wanted to get him to find out why its being delayed and delayed. i thought the house could have been delivered in april 23 but now still waiting as they have delayed the whole process. i do not understatd why the owner david wright refuses to talk to customers after he does the initial sale? just a bit of a worry.i dont know what other house removers are like but they seem ok but i am bit concerned. i know the office staff were very friendly but one has turned all into not being friendly, so now i dont even want to talk to them. i cannot recommend them . i hope others have a better experience but i am dishartened david wright refuses to talk to his customers. just not acceptable. there are other problems but i guess its a reason we need a solicitor now. sorry to say

David Wright’s excavator cleaned the site impeccably. We are happy about his job.However, they delayed the house removal by 2 months and we had to make multiple phone calls and send multiple email to get the job done.After the house removal they did not pay the money as mentioned in the signed contracts and gave numerous excuses for that.After lodging a formal complain to the Fair Trading and them calling them, finally they paid the money 10 weeks later.

Poor service incompetent misleading. Rude staff. If david wright knew what is happening in his office like good owners he will be ashamed. Sally wright and jade and Michael refused to let customers talk to David wright the delay the house being delivered. 7 months and they lodge paperwork to council but it's always wrong and council are not happy and wrights refuse to fix their problems. They refuse to say where they store your house abd cost extra moneyJust do not use them for your own sake

Will edit my post once we receive our payment which was due since Oct 22...Appalling behaviour from this business who is not paying their customers the money they owe them even though they have signed a contract.We are home owners and we signed a contract to sell our home to DW in Dec 2021. They haven't paid the initial deposit at signature, despite emails from us every week. They delayed the removal of our house by 6 months (expected March 2022, happened at the end of September 2022), where we had to rent another place since we gave them the place empty in Feb 2022. This delay has cost us an extra 10k in rental, and another 100k+ in construction costs (suffered from the rise of construction cost during this delay), as we couldn't start the work since the house was still on the block. As of Jan 2023, they still haven't paid a cent they owe us, finding excuses on the phone all the time. No access to talking to management. In the end, we would have lost less money demolishing the house and spending the 30k for that..They have also damaged a drain pipe of our neighbours across the street in the process, who just finished his reno a couple of months before our house removal.. We've mentioned it to them but no response on that matter.The only good" experience was with the handyman Mike on the excavator who cleaned the site
