JAX Tyres & Auto Sutherland

Had a leak in my tyre and took it to Jax who charged me $59 to repair. Only a couple of weeks later the same tyre started to go flat again. Took it somewhere else and the mechanic asked me “has someone tried to repair this recently? Because they just put a temp plug in it. This is not meant to be driven on long term.” For $50 they did an actual permanent repair. I was completely ripped off by Jax Sutherland. I will not be returning obviously. $110 now spent on a leaky tyre. Unbelievable.

Had 4 new tyres fitted, wheel balance and alignment. Also had a rego check done. Total cost very reasonable. Staff friendly and efficient.

Rang up and tried to explain the situation (had to use spare tyre recently) guy audibly sighed and snapped my head off saying “just tell me exactly what you need”. Here’s the thing I didn’t know what I needed hence why I was trying to ask a professional. Never bothering with them again.

Providing me with all options, which allowed me to feel reassured about my final decision. - no shopping around necessary.Sams’ customer service is prompt, and I can just tell that, the teamwork makes the dream work.Mechanically my car has never felt & sounded better, and I will continue to make Jax Sutherland my #1 choice in all things car related.

These guys are flat out for a reason, they're prices are reasonable & most importantly the customer service is outstanding, I don't right to many reviews but recognition is needed. Places like this are becoming far and few between in Sydney. I'm a return customer, over the years I've turned up with all types of tyre & alignment requirements, always receiving a smile and no problem attitude, to drive it home, I'm as fussy as hell with my vehicles.

Had a bizarre experience here last month. Rang to ask if I needed a booking, that I needed new tyres and I was just a few minutes away. Was told to come on in. Bloke was friendly on the phone. I arrived within 2 mins. Parked in the driveway. The staff outside were having a chat and they didn’t acknowledge me so I went to the office. (Maybe it was arvo smoko?). As I went through the door, the man behind the counter mumbled something unintelligible, not looking up from the computer. I kept moving forward and he aggressively yells ‘DON’T COME IN!’ I was confused, looking around, thinking maybe I’m in the wrong place, maybe it’s a covid policy thing? (Im fromVic so haven’t had much practice with in person experiences lately). A moment later, calmed down, he offers the explanation that there’s been an accident and motions to the expanse of floor. Ok, no problems. I couldn’t see anything but I could smell eucalyptus so I’ll just wait here outside the door. I watched him shuffle papers around for 5 mins before stepping back to my car to check on my kids. Waited for another 5 mins at my car, trying to make eye contact with the chatting staff or the shuffle paper guy but they expertly evaded any attempts at contact. After that, I got in my car and slowly reversed out with not so much as a nod from the crew.Just a heads up to those who prefer a more friendly approach. I experienced delightful service and had 4 new tyres within 30 mins just down the road in Kirrawee. No one even yelled at me!

Something weird happened when I recently had 2 rear tyres installed. After drop off I received a phone call advising that I had a major oil leak, but they could fix it for $390. I was concerned but said to leave it, as I was booked into my regular mechanic the next day for a service & rego check. My mechanic of over 5 years found nothing. Also upon pick up of my car it was noted on the invoice that another repair was needed @ $530. So repairs needed from Jax $ 920. Just posting as I thought it was weird. Oh my regular service & pink slip $245. After posting this review he phoned & tried everything for me to change my review. I am sorry if you are an elderly woman, I would suggest go elsewhere. No trust. A honest mechanic is just across the road right next to 7/11.

Sultan and the team are exceptionally professional when it comes to displaying customer service, kind friendly and generous costumer service at JAX auto Sutherland.Took my 2003 hilux in for a service which had an amazing turn over time. Also took it in to replace some old rubber seals that has caused leaks and Sultan had walked me through step by step on how and why they should be replaced and if they aren’t what are on going damages that it may cause.Overall was extremely happy with how I was treated from the moment I walked through the door!
